Top Amazon Reviews

  • Cool design, great product. Both a must have.
Style: R299
The media could not be loaded. I tried to write a separate review for both the R299 (Power Station) and the RK100 (Solar Panel) but there appears to be a glitch where it's not letting me do that so I decided to just group these reviews together. This works well because these products truly belong and work well together. R299 Review: This power station is amazing. Right out of the box it looks and feels very well made. The buttons have a nice click to them and everything is very responsive. It came charged at 50% which is great since lithium ion batteries need to be stored around that range to remain healthy. It’s very simple to use, there's 3 buttons. One to turn it on and off, One to turn the AC ability on and off, and another to turn the light on and off. Other than that there are several ports to plug in various things, along with the wireless charging on top. My first little experiment with this was “Can I charge my Onewheel with this?” and the answer is yes. Using about 75% of the power station I was able to get my onewheel to charge from 57 to 90%(These numbers may not be the most accurate, I didn’t pay too much attention, but it seemed 5% battery from the station equaled about 2 for the onewheel.). This is very impressive because the onewheel’s battery is quite large. It’s not going to be able to get it from 0-100 but I never expected it to, and this extra hour or so of riding while out camping, or away from home, means a lot to me. If you had enough time and a solar panel (which you can use to charge the power station) you could charge the onewheel off the grid which is pretty cool. Another use I have for this is my laptop. My laptop is a ‘gaming’ laptop and basically has to be plugged in to function. When it is unplugged it goes to a crawl and cannot run any games. I’d love to play on my patio but I have no outlet out there. With this power station I’m able to plug my laptop directly into it while outside and from some quick tests I’m able to use my laptop for several hours before the power station dies. I started my test with 82% battery on the power station and after 1 hour and 15 minutes it was only down to 52% battery. So with a full charge I’d expect 3+ hours with my use case which is very cool. I’ll definitely be using the power station for this pretty often. Since we are primarily going to be using this power station for camping I’d like to go over how much nicer this power station makes the camping experience. With it being 330W it can charge my 4000 mAh phone over 20 times. There is definitely peace of mind knowing you will not run out of phone battery while camping. The light on the power station is also great, it's a very nice light that isn’t too harsh but brightens up the entire area. Overall this power station is a game changer with several uses and I would heavily recommend it to anyone seeking a power station. It does what is advertised and it does it very well. RK100 Review: I wanted to say how impressed I am with the thoughtful design of this solar panel. In a nutshell these things are pretty simple, you make sure the panels are facing the sun and you get power, which this does great. What I really want to point out is how cool this functions. It comes folded up as you would do if you stored it, it’s held together by two strong magnets at the handle which is a nice feature. It looks a lot like a big laptop case but instead of a laptop when you open it up it unfolds into a solar panel. On the outside of it there is a zippered compartment where you can plug in the various provided cables to get the power. Another awesome part about the design is how the legs used to act as a stand to angle towards the sun are velcroed to the other side of the case. Simply pull them out, fold them appropriately, and re-velcro them to get them to stay. It feels very sturdy and well made. My main use for this is to recharge our power station when away from power, which it does as advertised but there are several other cables included to directly charge things like phones, tablets, etc. Overall it’s a great, well designed product and I’m amazed at how simple and effective it can be while folding up into a nice easy to store package at the end of the day. Video Update: I wanted to show how they connect together. It looks like a lot more cables than it is, its because the one cable includes multiple cables to support multiple things. It's as simple as unzipping the back of the solar panel, plugging the combination cable in, and then the correct plug for the power station you have. Don't mind the blinking 0 input, its because I set this up in my home with the solar panel not having access to light. ... show more

  • The Ruko R299 is a beast! Updated 6/26/24 to include RK100 solar panel
Style: R299
The media could not be loaded. This thing is portable where you want to take it and can be used for many occasions. It seems suitable for on the go charging or just having at your house for backup. It is lightweight with a sturdy handle. The wireless charging worked great and having many plug ins for multiple items. I had my iPad for my Ruko drone along with 2 batteries, remote and phone. Charged those with not any problems. So not only on the go capabilities but also at home. We had some storms come in and lost power. My 1st place to go was to get the Ruko power station. I was able to charge my phone, tablet and my watch. And even plug in my CPAP in the A/C outlet and worked like a charm with very little wattage useage. And even has night light . It does have SOS and that was tried out as well. All in another great item from Ruko. Will definitely have to try the solar panels as when out champing that will definitely be a plus in the tent for the trip. Great Customer support if you have any question or issues. Update 6/26/24 Got the RK100 solar panel as an add on to my RK299. Couldn’t do separate review from the RK299. The Solar Panel goes hand in hand with the power Station or could be used separate. It plugs directly into power station to charge it just as fast as it would plugged in. The plus for using it separately is that it has a usb hub that you can charge your things without the power station. So when going to the beach or camping you could take the solar panel or power station or both. Solar panel during the day and power station at night. Great quality and very durable. The built in stands work great and it all folds up to be very versatile to take wherever you go. ... show more

  • High quality design
Style: R299
The media could not be loaded. This portable power station is great. It arrived well packaged and protected as I've come to expect now from Ruko products. This being the third purchase. The handle and the feel of the overall build is quality. Very robust and seems intentional with the layout and use of casing materials. Bumpers where useful and softer grip material were needed. The weight to power capacity seems great. I have a few batteries that are similar in capacity and they weigh substantially more than this. The user interface is informative and useful. Simple three button layout with positive feel to selection. The power outputs are all reliable and we've pushed a few to the rated max without triggering the overheat protection. Thus far it has handled a pump for inflatables via the 12V car adapter, and many drone battery charges, a speaker charge, and over twenty phone charges with the USB sockets. Charging of the station itself was lengthy, but the capacity is high and the current limit of the AC/DC converter is not high. I do not have photovoltaic cells to charge it with yet, but I would expect it to work as stated without issue. The wireless charge feature on the top is quite nice. There is a USB out power monitor on the screen and the feedback helps optimize the coil to coil field coupling. So, moving the phone around slightly can yield higher wattage output. It is not as fast charging as wired option, but very convenient and efficient. I tested all the outputs with a volt meter and scoped the AC output. They are all within the tolerance I would expect from quality electronics. Thus far I've only charged the bank twice and it has far surpassed my expectations for capacity. Couple this with the solar option for a dependable off the grid power needs for many uses. Time will tell if the power station holds up, and we will continue to put it through it's paces in our adventures. I would recommend this power station for anyone in need of a high capacity power bank with many output options that likes to enjoy activities off grid, but still wants access to electronic devices. Great product, Ruko. ... show more

There was some confusion but Ruko customer service is amazing team and I’m going to try it once again. I’ll write honest feedback in a few weeks.
