We love the look of it and the size. What we didn't like was the shipping. It took forever to be delivered and when it finally arrive and when it finally did come the floor piece was damaged by a forklift and the one door panel had a slice in it that looked like it was from a box cutter. So, we called Rubbermaid and they shipped out two more pieces. These replacement parts took over 3 weeks and I had to keep calling the shipping company to see when it would be delivered. I finally was told it would ship but it didn't, so I called the shipping company again and they said it was sitting in their warehouse because the box was totally destroyed. We actually went to the shipping depot to look at the package and the floor piece was ok but the door was in worse shape than the original one. So, we accepted the floor piece to be able to finally put it together. At any rate we love it, but just hated that the shipping took forever and then came in damaged. ... show more

Two buddies and I, all of whom are manly men with lots of tools and skill using them, took over three hours to put the shed together. That time doesn't include the two hours to purchase, cut and assemble a wooden platform on which to erect the shed, nor the time unpacking and sorting the components. The shed assembly isn't complicated, but there are literally hundreds of screws involved. For example, each of the little Plexiglas windows in the doors required 19 screws. And you absolutely need to have a magnetized screwdriver to put on the roof. The instructions are clear, and the assembly is pretty straightforward. We put it together on a warm sunny day, so the black roof and black metal beams required gloves to handle. And why is the roof black, anyway? When we finished, we found that the doors had no latches, nor were any mentioned on the instructions, but the doors clearly have indentations and screw holes for latches. I called Rubbermaid, and they are sending me a latch set for free, but I don't understand why it wasn't included in the first place. Except for the missing door latches, I am very pleased with the final product. It looks nice and easily holds all my garden tools. While they did provide hooks with which you can mount things on the walls, the plastic walls will not hold a lot of weight without distorting. I'll update in a year or so regarding how it holds up under wind and rain. ... show more

The shed wasn't terrible to assemble and we had limited space to work with, took about 4 hours. We were able to shove it back into place once it was assembled, which was great. There were some details about the roof missing from the instructions but was easy enough to figure out if you think through how the pieces needed to overlay each other. Had a couple mishaps with the latching mechanism on the bottom of the left door but we were able to figure it out (screws were too long and ended up coming out the front of the door). All in all, very happy with the purchase. The one complaint I have - the shipping. I requested shipment on X Friday. The day before it was supposed to arrive, the shipping company called to tell me I needed to schedule my shipment and that the shed would not be delivered on Friday. It ended up getting delayed to a week and a half later (not a big deal because I didn't NEED it, but annoying none the less). After talking with the shipping company it appeared that Amazon didn't appropriately relay the message of when I wanted it shipped, or maybe the shipping company was just blaming amazon to make them look better? The structure itself seems fairly sturdy, but leave yourself plenty of time to build it. It took 2 adults 6 hours - mostly because the instructions are not the greatest. Labels did not necessarily match up on the screws, nuts, bolts, etc. Pictures of process were decent, for the most part, but the written instructions were few and far between. Parts went together easily once the instructions were deciphered. Some reviews mentioned missing boxes and/or pieces; we did not have that issue. However, delivery was extremely slow and the communication from delivery service was poor. That is not figured into the star rating, but I thought it was worth mentioning. ... show more

It is a good shed, very sturdy and holds all the lawn crap I wanted to put in there. So it fulfills its mission in life. Assembly took me about 3 hours and could almost entirely be done by one person, but when it comes to securing the side walls to the floor piece, a second person to force the pieces down while the other pushes them will be required. assembly was relatively simply. instructions were as clear as can be, straight forward. inside feels more spacious than it looks. its definitely a 2-person job, but it's not impossible for a 1-person assembly, takes patience, and pre-planning, especially when it comes to the roof. Supplemental use of a couple of sturdy awls to guide the screw holes for the roof assembly helps, plus some rope rigging to keep the roof balanced while positioning it in place.     • Great little shed
I hired someone to put this together for me as I am a single woman and didn't want to try to do this alone. He and his helper built a foundation of concrete and let it dry over the weekend. He then built the shed over the foundation, ensuring to shore up the seams on the ground with more concrete to make sure that it was fully waterproof. He said it wasn't hard to put together, you just have to ensure that you follow the directions to the latter. It is so cute and my neighbors are saying that I'm am showing everyone up with my fancy shed. I am very happy with the internal dimensions, as I didn't expect it to be that big inside.
