  • Husband Loves this Shed
Husband needed a shed to store 7 ton of pellets for winter. This foot the bill exactly. It two people to assemble but it has been sturdy through all the winds we've had lately. Pellets stayed dry too. And, it's not back to look at either.

  • Assembly Nightmare
If you have nothing to do go do something else. This is an assembly nightmare. I didn’t weigh the screws, but I’d bet a broken bottle of beer that they approach 3 pounds. The product description is woefully short of features and benefits. The shipping carton says it contains a complete storage shed. This is not true. There isn’t a floor unless you purchase a $250-$300 floor kit, then plywood to complete the shed. Don’t use the furnished screws because their way small to handle. Get larger self tapping sheet metal screws or you’ll go nuts. Others have summed up their assembly experience as never again and take a word of advice and listen to experience. I purchased a wood shed instead and sold the metal one for $400… an $800 loss. Customer service was not in sight. It was limited to a series of repetitive emails asking for a request to return over and over until finally receiving a return goods authorization number and a ship to address in NH. Freight for 300 plus pounds from the West Coast would have run $200. In whole trust me and do not purchase this storage shed. Amazon customer service was stellar, but the 3rd party vendor was frustrating to say the least. Good luck. ... show more

  • Not fun but happy with end result.
Let me start of by saying, I read many reviews of this shed prior to purchasing and listened to many when they said a big key to this build is having an almost perfectly level surface. I built a raised “deck” to accomplish this, or so I thought. This comes in 1 box, labeled at nearly 300lbs. Mine came upside down, so that was fun. Surprisingly everything was in great condition (even after flipping the box over). I began to pull pieces out following the directions, quickly finding part numbers not matching what I had and what the directions were calling for. After a quick phone call to Arrow I found of The box had a the wrong English directions. They corrected the mistake by sending me the proper English directions by email (this unfortunately slowed me down having to open up the pdf from email every step). Fast forward a few hours the base and the walls were up and I thought I was well on my way to having the shed built in 1 day. Womp womp womp...I was wrong. The roof is a disaster, it is a very slow process due to the many over lapping pieces (thus being stretched out on a ladder hanging over roof panels hoping not to smash them) and obnoxiously tiny bolts and nuts, not to mention the exhausting foil tape strips beteeen every seem. Everything fit well until the final roof panel. Due to nature of the shed (not anchoring until the end, your inevitably going to push/pull the shed out of square and very minor less than perfect level shed floor) Thankfully the shed isn’t all that heavy and a few minor push/pulls allowed the final assembly to go rather smooth. I am surprised as to how ridged the shed feels after it’s all said and done, exhausted but happy. I am a very handy person and have built many things that are “flat packed” like this. But this really takes the cake. A few words of wisdom from me to you; Have a set of saw horses for when you raise the initial wall panels (corners) it will make life easier to build the walls and attach the “structural” steel to the wall panels corners. Do yourself a favor and go by 2 dozen #8-32 x 3/4” to replace the ridge bolts as it makes threading the nut on much easier as your having to put the bolt through 2 panels and 2 ridge cap overlaps. Make sure you buy a good handful of 3/4” self tapping metal screws (for those pieces that you just can’t get the screw holes to line up exactly, just drive one of these in). Have extra foil tape on hand as the rolls they send will more than likely get used up, especially if it accidentally sticks to itself after removing the backing. The biggest thing with this shed is on flat and level surface, patience and being able to just “make it work”. If your anal and want everything perfect buy something else. My doors close nice and even with no gap ( there is some wiggle room with a few adjustment mounting holes) I have 0 faith that this shed won’t leak when the rain comes, so I have purchased a few tubes of caulking to fill those holes and caulk the entire base sections, but for 600$, you get what you pay for. From start (including phone call to arrow, lunch break and dealing with reading direction off a phone and a quick trip to HD) to finish this took approx 12-13 hours with 2 people. Best of luck. ... show more

  • Seal the ridges
This is a great shed. However, I recommend sealing the roof ridges and the entire roof with elastomeric roof coating before installing the ridge caps. The aluminum tape peels up over time and leaks. As you assembly the roof, apply the tape and roll the roof sealer on so you don't have to remove ridge caps later to apply it like I did. The white elastomeric coating keeps the shed at least 80% cooler inside as a huge benefit. I applied three coats of sealer and all is well now. White Rust-Oleum elastomeric roof coating is what I used. I also reinforced the roof for snow loading. I use a center post only in the wintertime. It is not installed in the picture. ... show more

  • Crappy quality
I bought an arrow 10x14 high gable steel shed because I have had them in the past and was happy with those units, This one is LOUSY quality wise, my son who is a qualified builder and a contractor noticed several issues with holes out of place by 1/2 inch in roof and side panels as he built it per the directions... the roof has ripples in it in a few places and the front and rear gable parts are not punched right so the holes are off and did not line up.... also the sides did not fit right on a few panels, so your quality control has gone DOWNHILL alot in the years since we bought our last shed !!!, this will be my last time purchasing an Arrow Metal building... very unhappy with this item for the price it cost, I could and should have just built out of wood and galvanized roofing metal in the first place... ... show more

  • This shed is garbage which is just where ours ended up
This shed is garbage which is just where ours ended up. It leaked like a sieve!...totally unusable! Much was totally destroyed and much was damaged! Our contractor assembled it and caulked during assembly. It just seemed to suck water in! DO NOT BUY

  • Misleading Tin Can Over Priced 9 x13 Shed
I bought a 10 x 14 shed that measures 9 x 13. The metal is as thick as a pop can and dents with the slightest pressure. The instructions don’t match the item and we had to drill holes in order to line up the screws. Seller refuses to compensate anything and will not refund. And of course they cut the price $200 after I purchased it. Not worth half of what we paid. Amazon should be ashamed to be selling this! ... show more
