  • Husband Loves this Shed
Husband needed a shed to store 7 ton of pellets for winter. This foot the bill exactly. It two people to assemble but it has been sturdy through all the winds we've had lately. Pellets stayed dry too. And, it's not back to look at either.

  • Assembly Nightmare
If you have nothing to do go do something else. This is an assembly nightmare. I didn’t weigh the screws, but I’d bet a broken bottle of beer that they approach 3 pounds. The product description is woefully short of features and benefits. The shipping carton says it contains a complete storage shed. This is not true. There isn’t a floor unless you purchase a $250-$300 floor kit, then plywood to complete the shed. Don’t use the furnished screws because their way small to handle. Get larger self tapping sheet metal screws or you’ll go nuts. Others have summed up their assembly experience as never again and take a word of advice and listen to experience. I purchased a wood shed instead and sold the metal one for $400… an $800 loss. Customer service was not in sight. It was limited to a series of repetitive emails asking for a request to return over and over until finally receiving a return goods authorization number and a ship to address in NH. Freight for 300 plus pounds from the West Coast would have run $200. In whole trust me and do not purchase this storage shed. Amazon customer service was stellar, but the 3rd party vendor was frustrating to say the least. Good luck. ... show more

  • Nice shed kit, maybe a little overpriced
This is a nice shed. 10' x 14' is ample room. I purchased the shed, floor kit and an anchor kit with four ground augers and steel cable. Delivery was by freight company. The shed itself was all metal, of course, just stacked and layered into a cardboard box. I will leave the packaging feedback elsewhere, but suffice it to say.... they could use a lot better and heavier box. There were holes in the box and several of the panels were dented and scratched. The shipping company did note this and called it in when it arrived. I was a little peeved, but told them I'd accept it as long as the shed assembled without any problems. Assembly was fairly easy, instructions were adequate, and most of the parts were labeled with numbers so you could be sure you were assembling the right pieces. I made the decision to build the shed right on the ground, then install the floor kit with wood floor later. In retrospect I should probably have assembled it on a treated wood base, but instructions said not to let any treated wood contact galvanized metal. I interpreted this to mean there would be a chemical reaction and corrosion could result. You start by assembling the based for the four walls, then square it up. Once square you assemble the wall panels. This is where it gets a little dicey, especially if you live anywhere where the wind might blow. Any good breeze can destroy the shed easily while assembling the wall panels. There is no real support until you get the wall beams and front door frames installed. To make sure the wind would not collapse or crush the panels, I pounded some long stakes into the ground inside and outside the wall panels for support. This seemed to work fine. You don't want to get interrupted or plan to assemble this over a few days time, because wind and weather can tear it up. Be sure you have some help where you need it and don't dawdle. You need to get it built, get the roof on, and get it anchored to the ground before any significant winds kick up. If you can do that you are probably good. The floor kit went in fine and I used a post-hole digger (motorized auger) to put in the ground anchors, packing the dirt tight . Overall this is a nice shed, maybe a little overpriced, but I guess steel is a commodity these days so the price can vary. The shed did assemble without too much trouble, so I did not squawk too much about the shipping damage. ... show more

  • Seal the ridges
This is a great shed. However, I recommend sealing the roof ridges and the entire roof with elastomeric roof coating before installing the ridge caps. The aluminum tape peels up over time and leaks. As you assembly the roof, apply the tape and roll the roof sealer on so you don't have to remove ridge caps later to apply it like I did. The white elastomeric coating keeps the shed at least 80% cooler inside as a huge benefit. I applied three coats of sealer and all is well now. White Rust-Oleum elastomeric roof coating is what I used. I also reinforced the roof for snow loading. I use a center post only in the wintertime. It is not installed in the picture. ... show more

  • Crappy quality
I bought an arrow 10x14 high gable steel shed because I have had them in the past and was happy with those units, This one is LOUSY quality wise, my son who is a qualified builder and a contractor noticed several issues with holes out of place by 1/2 inch in roof and side panels as he built it per the directions... the roof has ripples in it in a few places and the front and rear gable parts are not punched right so the holes are off and did not line up.... also the sides did not fit right on a few panels, so your quality control has gone DOWNHILL alot in the years since we bought our last shed !!!, this will be my last time purchasing an Arrow Metal building... very unhappy with this item for the price it cost, I could and should have just built out of wood and galvanized roofing metal in the first place... ... show more

  • This shed is garbage which is just where ours ended up
This shed is garbage which is just where ours ended up. It leaked like a sieve!...totally unusable! Much was totally destroyed and much was damaged! Our contractor assembled it and caulked during assembly. It just seemed to suck water in! DO NOT BUY

  • Should have just stick built my shed.
Complete garbage. Panels don’t line up with screw holes on rails. Either the manufacturer needs new stamping equipment or there was to much weight places on the box forcing the panels to flatten out. The panels gained 1 inch if not more through the length of the shed. Finally got fed up with it and just started making my own screw holes. Would have been easier and less headache to just stick build my shed. ... show more
