Purchased this same unit as a gift for my stepson to store a stereo I gave him on his back porch. Was impressed with the quality and weather proof construction, so I bought one for myself for storing an Integra stereo receiver on my front porch. It has kept rain water and snow from entering and damaging my components. I drilled holes in one side to insert a power cord and ran cable covers up the side, which did not weaken the double wall construction. Love this box. It is water tight and has a ton of storage. I use it for pool chemicals and supplies. Everything stays dry and is safely located out of my garage and away from the kids. It was also extremely easy and quick to assemble. Highly recommend.

Once assembled very pleased with this unit. Like that it can be locked. Assembly instructions mostly only pictures. Some words to describe process would have been very helpful. Even though you are putting "wood screws" into plastic I found it extremely helpful to tap a small hole to start the screw. Better to insert screws by hand than using power drill. ... show more

We love our new cabinet but the assembly was difficult for a couple on there 70’s. It was well packaged with all sorts included but there were a few issues. As other has have mentioned, after I laid out all the pieces (panels, doors, too, sides, etc), I noticed that 4 or 5 pieces had surfaces scratches on them as if they were dragged along a concrete floor. However, they were more cosmetic and I wasn’t about to put everything back in the bix and return it (weighs about 70 lbs) so we installed it. The pictures in the assembly booklet are relatively easy to follow except you have to be a contortionist to assemble with over 70 screws, with 4 or 5 different kind of screws that all come on 2 bags. So, a word to the wise, assort all your screws so that you don’t use the wrong ones that could end up being a bit too long and puncturing one of the panels. It took up about 2 hours to put together and were very happy when it was done. All in all, it’s well constructed and should last a long time. ... show more

Happy now that the process is over, but assembly was a challenge. Unlike so many purchasers, we did get the correct two side panels but one was impossibly warped. After much useless pushing and pressing, we took the warped panel outside on a hot day, laid a #70 kettlebell on it, and set up our space heater in front of it all. It took about an hour for the plastic to soften sufficiently to bow back in, but it did work. It is critical to count out all your parts, divide the hardware into separate bowls, and read every word of the well-written assembly instructions. We used an electric screwdriver for assembly rather than the recommended drill, just to reduce risk of over torquing the screws. It worked great. The cabinet holds six of our 24” square and 5” thick seat cushions, plus about 12 throw pillows. It looks good overall, and I believe it will hold up. If two liberal arts majors can put this contraption together, you can, too. ... show more

Once you have this cabinet assembled will be very happy with it. Assembling it takes work. If you buy it, pay the $89 to have it assembled
