  • Great cooking experience!
Color: Silver
I'd like to add my voice to the other positive reviews. I had never cooked on a griddle, so I've been experimenting with various foods over the last month or so, and I'm happy to report that everything I've tried has been wonderful. I've done burgers (of course), stir fry beef strips, veggies of all kinds (mushrooms and onions cook great on the griddle), and many other things. I'm going to try fried rice next. This griddle is easy to use and very easy to clean once seasoned. I admit I was intimidated by the thought of seasoning it, but I used Blackstone griddle seasoning, and it was a very easy process. We really like that we can easily cook veggies because we eat a lot of them. A griddle works so much better than a grill, fqr more versatile. So if you're on the fence about buying this griddle, don't be. The quality is great, easy to assemble, and the food is delicious. ... show more

  • Great, preseasoned skillet
Color: Silver
Love this thing. We used to take our big flattop on camping trips but it’s huge with the stand and all. This thing is large enough to cook a ton, but can easily carry/move/store in rv storage compartment with all the other stuff. Cooks evenly, heats fast, love that it hooks up to a big tank. Bought the lid too, it’s handy but don’t cook with it on the back as it shows, it sends a lot of heat right at you directly. Highly recommend ... show more

  • Best RV grill
Color: Silver
This replaced a larger version with 1/2 griddle and 1/2 grill. I don't miss the open flame a bit and have had nothing but successful cooks with this thing. I've used it for months now on the road and it still looks new. The griddle comes off easily and can be cleaned with a hose and brush in seconds when it's still warm. There's no sign of rust although it's been caught in several downpours. It gets plenty hot and fits well in my RV basement. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Dont expect a $500 Griddle for $99 Bucks
Color: Silver
Griddle is FINE...I actually like the porcelain BETTER because I will cook lots of breakfasts on it. Like the one reviewer said GET SOME PAM unless you want scrambled eggs. No break in necessary on this type of surface. And you dont need 24" huge metal spatulas unless you're on TV like that Blackstone guy was. You will actually acratch the porcelain if you scrape it too roughly. Some good sturdy plastic spatulas will work nicely. These are ALL gonna have hot and cold spots...GEESH! Try cookin on a Holiday Inn 60" Griddle like I did for years, this thing is a BREEZE compared to that huge monster.. As to the hole not linin up in case you didnt know the griddle is NOT stationary it will move around on those screws was very easy to align the hole no mods necessary. For just her and I this is just the right size and we dont camp...unless it's at a Comfort Inn or the Hilton...LOL...so no worries there. On the patio it's just fine and a good price for all you're getting. Relax and learn how to use it or go spend 350-500 and get a Blackstone which will come with it's own set of issues, they ALL do. ... show more

  • Makes you forget that you have a Grill
Color: Silver
Well all has started with a grilling event on the ocean side, we used a small charcoal grill. We got smoke minor burns, raw food, completely burnt food, lighter fluid, and remained hungry. So I was looking for some alternatives. Among a few searches this one popped out. I didn't even know that people use griddle outside of professional kitchen. I've bought a grill when we moved to the USA, though it is always a hustle to keep that clean, so I've lost the interest in it a few months after the purchase. Since I have this griddle I use it 2-4 or even more times a week (it's still summer). So let's review the details. Size: It's portable, though it is not small or compact. It can run on a small propane tank (with a suitable adapter) for about an hour with all the burners on low. You can use about the upper 4/5 of the cooking surface, as the bottom part usually too cold. It's enough to comfortably cook 8 burger patties in one batch. Heat: For me, this griddle runs hot, I usually cook on low. sometimes switching a burner or two off if the food needs to have different temperatures. I use the high setting only if I have a lot of food on the plate with high water content (hash browns, rice). Maintenance: That's a big surprise. This thing is porcelain coated which is not common for larger grills. I only can guess. This type of coating is quite brittle, so the unavoidable bends on a larger surface makes this coating impractical. Also the instructions is not that clear how to clean/prepare the plate surface. I've spent hours with seasoning, realizing that I would scrape of all that burned oil from the surface with my next spatula movement. Unlike ceramics, it is fine to use metal tools on this surface, as long as it's not a sharp poking one. So cleaning is just scraping the surface, and applying water on hot surface then wipe it with paper towel using a clip will do. Occasionally I use grill stone to get rid of some nasty burnt-downs. I did that only twice in 5 months so far, and the first one was after my, last, failed seasoning attempt. Both times I got the non-stick porcelain surface back. Comfort: - Well, leveling the plate is an important thing, I feel the four screws on the bottom of the plate does not provide enough setting if you you put this grill to an uneven surface (which could happen, since it is supposed to be portable). Also those screws change the distance between the plate an the burner, so the heat distribution changes as well. - There is no wind protection between the burners an the plate, which again can be challenging in a breezy outdoor setting. (I'd recommend to buy the hard cover, which could provide a wind shield from at least one direction.) - The drain hole for the grease trap could be larger. Even with it's shortcomings, this is a great little griddle for the money. ... show more

The sturdy piece works very well. It’s kinda big and bulky, but it does the job. Easy to assemble. I love it
