    • ROVSUN does not stand by their products sold on Amazon
I had been a good customer of ROVSUN purchasing 3 portable air conditioners, all the same model. One in 2019, one in 2021, and the broken unit in 2022. I received the last one with the exhaust port broken. I requested a replacement numerous times stating it was broken in shipping (rough handling). They would not send a replacement and only gave me a credit of $20 and said to glue the broken parts. The unit worked for our very short cooling season for 10 days in 2022 and 10 days in 2023. It would not work (compressor won’t start) this summer and I assume it’s due to the rough handling in shipping as both other units that I bought from ROVSUN in years earlier still work as new. ROVSUN said it’s out of warranty and refuses to do anything even though it was damaged when I received it. Amazon also has not done anything to rectify the problem. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ROVSUN. THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. THEIR FOOLISHNESS IN THIS MATTER WILL COST THEM MUCH MORE THAN THE $350 THAT I HAVE WASTED ON THIS UNIT. IN ADDITION TO TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW, I AM FILING CHARGES WITH THE WASHINGTON STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL AGAINST ROVSUN AND AMAZON. ... show more

This portable ac unit has my bedroom feeling like a dream but the installation was a headache for me. Sure, seems easy enough just looking at it but the heat vent tube thing was a giant pain in the butt. It kept slipping out of both end pieces regardless of what I did. I got a guy to put it in for me and it seemed secure finally, only for it to slip out again when I went to slide the vent piece onto the unit. Basically, it won’t secure in so I had to maneuver the ac to where it just sits into it and hope it doesn’t slip out again. But the unit itself is great. ... show more

I swear this is the best product I have ever bought on Amazon. I work for Sam's Club and this unit is way better than the expensive big heavy ugly Air conditioning expensive units we sell. I only needed one unit for my entire house and it keeps it nice and cold . The unit is small attractive and so quiet .     • Poor design and poor quality
This item is poorly made. The ductwork from the unit to window does not fit properly. We had to tape it to the window. The drainage tube was not made for this unit either. It comes out every time we drain the water. Sometimes we have to drain the water every 30 minutes to an hour, and sometimes it doesn’t drain for over 48 hours. It cools relatively well but I must say this is the worst thing I have ever purchased from Amazon. ... show more
