  • Reliable Brand
Arriver on time and as advertised. Smartly packaged with a shaker built in. Spreads easily and evenly.

  • Small inconvenience
I couldn't attest to if it works or not but the granules go a long way. It's a fairly decent package as well and cleverly made for sprinkling straight from the package. My inconvenience complaint is I seem to have a big issue once the container is under half full with getting the granules out at a decent rate. It feels super effortless in the first half or eh packaging but then I have to do a lot of wiggling and squeezing and adjusting to make any good progress in the last 1/3rd to 1/2 of the package. Squeezing seems to help but it's awfully tiring. ... show more

  • I’m hoping
I am hoping that this does what it says it does that it gets rid of the weed without harming the plants. However, after three weeks of putting it in my flowerbeds, I’m still seeing weeds.

  • Product is nearly impossible to use for anything but a 5 sq ft shrub bed
I am a retired landscape contractor and have been using Preen for my home landscape beds for over 30 years. Because Round up weed killers Liquid and granular have worked so well for my commercial and personal applications that I assumed the new Weed preventer would also be a good product. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! It is nearly impossible to use more than 1 or 2 ounces as directed. Additionally, the printing on the package, the instructions and acceptable plants are so small that a magnifying glass is necessary to read them. ... show more

  • Works! I like it better than Preen.
Seems to work better and longer than Preen. My weeding chores have been GREATLY reduced. I’ve been plagued with an infestation of yellow nutsedge in multiple flower beds for years. And while some still pop up now and then, it amazes me at how few there have been this year since I started using this. I never want to be without it. ... show more
