You will have reall heavy duty rubber not just some thin plastic called ruber.Take a time to make it flat specially in cold weather but it's wort it every penny.And yes,it's smells but if you like new tire smell like i do,you will like,maybe same as me. (0: And YES,you will enjoy that interesting rubber odor for weeks longer time than tire smell.Shape is great same as bad but it can be little bit bigger.But it's probably smaller for purpose..?I highly recomend it and i will buy it again and again. ... show more

Fit great. It’s thick and heavy. Only two negatives are that it has a strong smell that takes a while to go away and it also takes a while to lay completely flat after unrolling. I bought mine in winter and I am sure if it were summer it would have laid flat much faster after a couple hot and sunny days. ... show more

I read the reviews, and they were spot on. The ones that state that this product is made of sturdy material was absolutely correct. It does have a strong rubber order, but it eventually subsides. I am extremely satisfied with the purchase.

    • Wow…real rubber and real protection!!!
I am impressed and at this price point it is great!!! Last time my previous Gladiator needed a bed liner I purchased a horse stall pad from Tractor supply which is super thick and just as heavy. It was a pain to cut and get a perfect fit but the protection was 2nd to none. I think this one might be just a tiny bit thinner but hard to say. Just as heavy and had real trouble unrolling it to lay in the sun but wow what protection! I highly recommend it if you don’t want the mat flying out of the bed and you want super protection…this one is it!!! ... show more
