Quick and easy to install. Perfect fitment with all necessary hardware included. Only a screwdriver and pliers/channel locks were needed was a plus. For beginners/entry-level car enthusiasts, the instructions are a bit unclear in some steps for overall installation, however, it is more than enough to cover the important aspects such as what can/cannot be reused and over-tightening parts. The instructions omitted/unclear with the overall fitment of the heat shield. There is an additional factory seal that the 6th-generation Camaro SS/1LE has that must be aligned and fit perfectly when installed so that air coming from the front of the vehicle is routed to the filter properly. The overall fitment is great. The heat shield box is a bit tricky to place as it needs to align with the vent seal at the bottom and the grommets to hold into place. The elbow piece can also be tricky to install as well as there is limited space. As mentioned in the instructions, no additional parts are needed to be removed other than the factory intake. No tune is required so after installation you may continue daily driving. There may be some concerns regarding the computer system not adjusting to the extra air coming in but for me, there were no issues with that. To take additional precautions, the battery can be unplugged while installing and reconnected when finished and driving the vehicle for a bit to allow the system to reconfigure. ... show more
