I bought this just to test it out and see if this really worked. I bought the .05 for my face to start trying to regenerate the collagen in my face, espicially under my eyes. I also bought the peptide serum to compliment the procederé. I'm pretty good with pain so I have got my face pretty red at times and have even had some day parches but they went away quickly. I've been using it for a month 2 times a week and friends have asked me what I'm doing for my skin. I then saw that micro needling possibly helps with balding and have that grapefruit sized bald spot on the crown of my head. I've used it 4 times and each time my scale did breed but my face no so much. To my surprise I'm seeing the sigas of hair growth so I just purchased the 1.0 roller and some retinol to see if I can regrow my hair.... wouldnt that be amazing. It’s super squeaky. The squeaking is loud, but it works Not painful at all. I uploaded pictures that way you can see the bit of pressure I apply when I roll every direction on my face. I have a skin condition since my infancy where it flares under the sun. I also had radiation treatment four years ago, which caused me to react horribly. Two dermatologists gave me skin bleaching creams which isn’t working, so I figured I can give this a try. I never had issues with acne or anything, but life has its quirks. Wish I could post pics but they all have my face in it lol. But this worked great and I’m still using it. It allowed me to grow my beard and when I went back home to visit this September my whole family was shocked. If you’re trying to grow a beard, I would by HIMS drops (not the foam) to go with this. My routine was: Hims Drops once in the morning before work and once when I got out the shower I would roll ONCE EVERY OTHER DAY, and do so before apply the HIMS drops AFTER I got out the shower Applying the HIMS drops with leave the area ashy, so I would apply Jamaican Castro Oil to the area before I clocked into work.. I would let it just be ashy after I rolled and applied the drops after the shower at night ... show more

I am using this derma roller for fine lines and wrinkles on my face and neck. I have only been using it for about a week, so I cannot attest to its long-term results. I will update my review in about a month. However, what I can tell you is that for me personally, it is not painful. I can tell that it is very slightly piercing the skin, but again it’s not painful, just prickly. After using, my face is somewhat red and a little itchy for about 30 minutes, but it’s not anything that I cannot tolerate. I use hyaluronic acid and a moisturizer afterwards to add to the benefits of the roller. Make sure to clean the roller before using. It also comes with a plastic case. ... show more

I was having trouble with thinning around the corner of my hairline. Pretty much almost a bald spot. I used the derma roller 3 times a week every other day and saw results the next week. My method was used the derma roller, ACV while in the shower, then dry my hair, I apply a castor oil and Cashew oil mix after. Always cover while I sleep with a durag.
