It's a nice hat but fits a little small/shallow. The light is bright and it's easy to recharge.

    • Poor light. Unable to aim light in useful direction. Very uncomfortable.

I purchased both the hat and the beanie products and have returned them both. The hat is enormous and could not be adjusted to get it to fit well. The back of the light was very uncomfortable against my head and it was impossible to get the light directed in a useful way for walking or working. If you are concerned about being seen from a distance, these hats might work for you if you can make them fit comfortably. But if you are looking for a hat to provide you useful, directed, light these are not for you. ... show more

I like running in the park near my house later evening but often get caught in the dark and it feels unsafe. I love this hat because I can easily turn on the light while running without stopping. It lights the path and helps me see more of my surroundings. Also as a bonus I used it one night when the power went out in my apartment and I couldn't find a flashlight! ... show more

The light works great but the hat is very uncomfortable. Too large as in, but in trying to adjust it, it’s just not comfortable on my head.

I’ve had a winter hat from this same company for a few years and was happy they now have this baseball cap version to wear in spring/summer. The brightness of the light is really good. I’m glad it is adjustable so I can make it more snug while walking inclines outside.
