  • One Year Review
Color: Dynamic Black
After about a year of using these headphones, the materials (glue, silicone) finally started to fail. This time I got a 3-Year Protection Plan from ASURION along with my order, so I can get a replacement when this pair eventually dies. I wore these about 18hrs a day for the first 4 months, then about 7hrs a day for the next 7 months and haven't had any major issues with them. Pro: - They're so lightweight and unintrusive that you forget you're wearing them. - The battery life is great. Leave it to Anker to make good batteries. They easily last all day, and charge very fast. I charge the case once or twice a week. - The touch controls are fine, I don't use them much as I watch YouTube/shows more than listen to music. The functions are adjustable in the app. If you plan on getting them wet (pool, shower, etc.), the touch controls might freak out a bit; This has never affected my experience though. - The headphones support up to 2 devices at once (It switched between the 2 audio sources, it doesn't play both sources together), switching sources takes between 0.2-3s in my experience. - The sound quality is pretty good, I can't think of any earbuds that sound noticeably better. - The connection distance is quite good, they cut out when I walk outside; so about ~70ft with walls. - Although I don't use them this way, each earbud can be used independently for those who like to only have one in. Cons: - There's only one size; if they don't fit your ears well enough (try them for a week), you're SOL. - The first few days of wearing them hurt my ears quite a bit; I could only wear them for about an hour. After a week or so, I could wear them indefinitely without pain or discomfort. - Although they support calls, the audio quality significantly decreases when the microphone is engaged. - The screen inside can easily be damaged/removed when cleaning. Without the screen, there is (at least in one of them) a slight static sound. It is also louder without the screen, which can throw the balance off. ... show more

  • Better sound quality than Soundcore C30i, but I like both
Color: Cozy Blue
I couldn't decide between the AeroFit and the C30i, so I ordered both, expecting to return one... but I kept both. I ordered these because I wanted an earbud that wouldn't block out my surroundings, and both of these are great for that. They're also not so loud that others can hear what you're listening to. My son could hear that I was listening to something when he sat next to me in the car, but couldn't identify what it was. The batteries last a long time in both, and once paired, they stay synced to my device well. However, they're as different as siblings. Here are their pros and cons: AeroFit: - I think they're more comfortable, and the sound is much richer. (Note that the app will give you several EQ options, but out of the case, the sound from the AeroFit is more full.) - The over-ear design of these buds conflicts with the arm on a pair of glasses or sunglasses, which is probably the only "con" to these. I don't use these if I need to wear glasses. - These also come with silicon attachments that go behind your ear to help keep them from slipping, if needed. C30i - The sound isn't as full as the AeroFit--it's a bit "small speaker" / "tinny" sounding, but you might be able to play with the EQ in the app to change what you hear to better align with your preferences. - I enjoy the "clip" design of these buds because they don't conflict with glasses or sunglasses. The hold is snug and comfortable for me for quite a while, but I can still get tired of the feeling if I wear them for a long time. They do come with some silicone attachments to help the bud fit better if it is too loose or uncomfortable. Unlike Airpods, neither of these are great about automatically shutting off if you take them off of your ear - perhaps because the light level around them doesn't change much when you take them off because they don't sit in your ear canal. I think they have controls on them if you tap them, but I haven't taken the time to learn them, so I can't really speak about their usefulness. In short: I like both for different reasons! I'm glad I found them on sale. ... show more

  • Sound is great.
Color: Soft Pink
For the most part these are great. Sound quality is great. Here are the issues-You cant wear sunglasses comfortably because the piece that wraps over your ear is too big. Eapecially if you have tiny ears like me. Can be done but there is a fear of losing one during exercise with sunglasses on. Not a problem if you are working out in the gym or dont need glasses to see. Have been using them since June 1 ‘24 and now (8/20/24) the case wont charge the left earbud. They have offered to replace them but want me to ship them back before they ship the new ones. So my options are buy more headphones for the interim or be without for who knows how long. I expect better from earbuds that cost over $100. Another issue is that they can only be paused by either the pause feature on your phone/device or double tapping each earbud individually. Not a huge deal as I workout alone in my home gym but could b a problem if I were using them in other settings. I do like the sleekness of the case as it fits neatly in a pack on my water bottle. But if it wont charge the left earbud that is rather moot. I will update this review if they accept my request for a replacement BEFORE I send the defective ones back. Or I may just give up on Soundcore and go with a different brand. UPDATE: They reached out because of my original review and replaced the the headphones!! The process was seemless. I think the original was defective, as i was always having trouble connecting both headphones. Replacement works great so far. And double tapping pauses both headphones. ... show more
