Install these up underneath the deck. Before putting it in the water, everything worked perfectly. All connectors were good and tight rubber O-rings in place all wiring secured. Less than a week later I have all kinds of flickering and the lights don’t work. It’s not my wiring, both sides flash, the same and come on but very faintly. None of the functions work either. I don’t think the control box is actually waterproof at all. Now that I have investigated. The control box is completely corroded and the light strips corroded as well at each point that you’re allowed to cut or shorten the length. THESE ARE NOT GOOD FOR SALTWATER USE. These lights are easy to install, very bright and it has a very good color spectrum. The remote signal isnt very strong and you actually have to open the battery comparment where the end of line controller is and point the remote directly at it within a few feet to turn on and off or to change the colors.
