UPDATED REVIEW- Amazon promptly replaced the Rockpals Solar Panel and cable and all is well. The cable is in great condition and this unit charges our power station fast, as we were hoping for. ROCKPALS’ Customer Service representative, August, even reached out to me because of my review and pictures and offered to send a replacement cable to make this right; I think it’s wonderful that they watch the reviews and take notice when things aren’t right. I have to recommend this solar panel because of the portability, functionality and the way ROCKPALS stands behind the product….and it looks good! Dec 10 2022 - Received solar panel intended to charge my Jackery portable power station, set it up and took out the wire bundle…NOT GOOD!! See my photos. Amazon has accepted my return, so I will update this review when the replacement arrives, but in the meantime, we’re not happy with the lack of quality control. The panel seems awesome and the portfolio style is great…let’s see what happens. ... show more

Great panels. Charge phones / power banks fast with USB ports. Charging solar generators is a breeze and works great. Can connect panels in series or parallel (need 2). Attractive, well made. Sturdy. Kickstands are great! Only thing I’d change is to add at least one more kickstand. I use wooden blocks to Prop up where needed so the panels are completely flat. When it gets late in the day, I use those same blocks pictured as they can stand the panels upright more than the built in lock stands. Only way to fix that would be to design a kickstand that can extend down when you need to prop the panels more upright. Can stand a little rain / dew on panels. Storage pocket and Included cables with Anderson powerpole connectors and adapter for most needs are great. Includes y parallel cable. Would defiantly recommend these portable / foldable solar panels for car / RV camping / boondocking. Very good price on sale when I purchased. ... show more

I like that this came with a versatile cable connection. The size is compact and easy carry & to pack away in my van. I charge my Bluetti eb3a's off of it. My GoLabs r300 & my Dr Prepare power max batteries with the power hubs on this. My GoLabs & Dr Prepare batteries can only be charged on 100watt panels, so this is good for that. When setting the solar panel up, one has to be sure that the velcro flap end doesn't flip over to cover the corner of the panel as that obstructs the sun. The 4 panel length makes this much more compact for carrying and storing, but a little more challenging to set it up correctly. So there's your pro & con in one sentence. All in all, I'm happy with this solar panel. I might consider ordering a 200 watt in the future for my Bluetti's. ... show more

I purchased the "Upgraded" Rockpals 100w solar panel to run my Jackery 500, in order to keep my ICECO 12V fridge-freezer running while I am camping and to charge other items with me as well. My first trip out with it was a few days ago, and it worked fantastically well! There was a lot of heat and sun, but on the second day was a lot of high cloud cover at times. No worries! This excellent solar panel set kept my Jackery and thus my fridge-freezer cooling right on target! I am THRILLED! Even though it did exceptionally well charging with just the one set of 100w solar panels, I've decided, and just purchased, a second of the Rockpals "Upgraded" 100w solar panels, just in case of more consistent cloudy weather on future trips, and to easily charge up other items as needed. I set the solar panels up in the dirt and small gravel parking slot where my car for my campsite was, and it was so easy to set up! I opened my back passenger window just enough to run the cable through to my Jackery and 12v fridge in the car. It was perfect! Another great thing about it is that it folds back up so nice and tidy and slim, to slip behind the driver's seat. "Easy-peasy"! I also really like that it is waterproof and very well designed and made to ensure that it is. ... show more

Rockpals RP082 100 watt Foldable Solar Panels daily since mid December 2020. The weather has been pretty good here in South Florida and I can average about a 50% to 60% Solar Recharge a day of the Rockpals 300 watt Solar Generator. The panels seem durable, well built, the foldable design allows easy transport or storage. The winter sun puts between 37 watts to 40 watts of output to the Solar Generator. At the Anderson Connectors I measured 23.5 volts and 4.37 amps indicating an output of 102.69 watts. This provides enough power to recharge my laptop, tablet, phone, Bluetooth speaker, and power a LED light that averages about 8 watts an hour for 7 hours daily. I built an adjustable, wheeled, aluminum rack to lay the solar panels on to track the sun throughout the day. I agree with the other comment that a third foldable leg would make the solar panels stand up better. Overall the Rockpals 100 watt Foldable Solar Panels perform great, are easily transportable, storable, durable, well made, and a good value. ... show more

I bought this to use with my Jackery500. I checked out all of the available information on other panels and I chose the rockpals version with kickstands because: 1) portability - it folds up to a small briefcase size 2) waterproof - this is important to me and others are not water resistant 3) durability - you'll see when you get it, this is high quality 4) price - it's cheaper than some of the alternatives 5) did you know some others need full sun to charge and won't work if any portion is blocked? - OVERALL: this is a well built, well priced solar panel. You can hook two of them up together and it works with ALL of the solar generators. I already had my jackery or I may have gone with Rockpals for the generator too. Very nice panels, check out all of the available reviews and videos and you will make the same choice I did. ... show more
