This bag is beautiful and well made. The size is 15 inches across, I measured it, because it feels much bigger. I wanted a smaller size. The bag has a lot of room with a small mesh bag for extras. I needed only to carry the laptop and some extras for traveling. It will work also for weekend travel. The only issue I had, I bought for my return flight after Christmas, is that the telescoope handle keeps slipping, and doens't stay on the short length, I'm 5'2", and bag wheeled too far from me. This travel bag is really one of the best I've had. I keep trying them and nothing seems to work right. This is a good one. The zippers do feel sticky but I think will put a little something on them to help the run smoother. The organization pockets are very logical! I liked all the features and the red is pretty. It is great and plenty roomy for a weekend getaway. It can also be secured to a roller bag via a strap on the back. I am going to use this instead of a backpack, the wheels slide through the airport effortlessly

Looking for an overnight bag that was lightweight yet could hold enough clothes ( I always over pack) and after read so many reviews I choose the Rockland. The videos of this product also helped me to make my choice. Chose the color red and it’s a true red. There are enough compartments to fill with toiletries and such. The compartment for a lap top is a bit small but will fit my iPad perfectly. The zippers all work fine as do the wheels. It’s ok for me that it only has two wheels as that will stop me from packing it too heavy. It appears to be sturdy and the material thick enough so as to last a bit. I haven’t traveled with it yet but looking forward to using it! So far would recommend. ... show more

    • Nice bag but quality control is lacking

The bag I received had quality control issues--poor stitching, parts attached crooked. I ordered a replacement and that one arrived with bits of foam sticking out from the body from poor stitching and the zippers didn't work well. I returned both. Overall the bag is a nice size--I like the design. The handle had a little wobble although most bags in this price range are the same. The wheels worked fine. Its a very soft bag so if you want something more protective you may need to look at similar bags with more of a sturdy frame rather than soft flexible fabric. This bag doesn't sit as high on its wheels when attached to a larger suitcase handle so it doesn't impact your hands as much. I was concerned about durability, however, with the zipper and stitching issues. It might be just fine for general travel by car but I don't know how durable it would be for airplane travel. ... show more

I have had this bag a few years now. Nice smaller size that has fit under all seats except one flight for me. I’ve successfully used it for a 2 day work trip. My only complaints so far are: 1. The wheels are plastic and very loud in the airport. Noticeably louder than others. 2. The handle is plastic colored to look like aluminum. Don’t know how it will hold up long term. 3.
