Followed all the steps in the right order. Ran the tumbler for over a month through all the steps. In the end, all of my stones are now a dull matte finish and not even as shiny as they were before they went through the processes. I don't blame this product completely- all of these kits seem about the same as far as materials go- I just think the whole process is a waste of money, time, electricity, and misrepresented as 'stone polishing'. Completely ruined my emerald, rubies, sapphires, opals, and tourmaline as well. I will have to hand polish the ones that are still large enough to secure, or coat them with something to get a shine out of them now. And some of them just ended up too small or even sand like. ... show more
