    • Finally, the perfect alarm clock for me
PROS: -Looks fantastic, nice form factor. -Lots of features, yet very simple to use. -Brightness slider goes from 0 - blinding at night. -Alarm sound is notched: Low, Med, High (wish it went 1/2 notch louder to cut through my earplugs better, but High works well enough for me.) -Very lightweight, portable in that respect. -I find every control to be self-explanatory, intuitive and easy to use. -I like the "Alarm Pause" button on the back which sticks out enough so you can feel it and instantly pause the alarm until the next morning. If I had to manually remember to turn the alarm off each morning and back on each night, this clock would be useless to me - great job on that! -The two USB charging ports on the back are a handy feature. You can charge just about anything you need to anytime you like. CONS (my cons may not apply to everyone): -I wish it had a multiple alarm feature so I could set 7 different alarms: one for Monday thru Friday, off on Saturday, on at a different time for church on Sunday. I'd pay more for that feature. -I wish it had the ability to choose a 5-minute snooze time because 9 minutes is too long. Again, in fairness, most alarms clock snoozes have a 9 minute interval. -The the snooze button doubles as a multicolored "night light": it's much too bright to be useful to me in the dark. I was concerned that I might accidentally turn it on when snoozing the morning alarm and blind myself out of bed, but that has not been an issue. I wear earplugs at night to block out extraneous noise, so I need an alarm that's loud enough to cut through. This one works for that, but my wife has mentioned a few times that the first snooze alert has continued to sound longer than the rest because if I'm sleeping deeply enough I don't seem to hear it right away. Otherwise, the loudest setting should be quite enough to wake up even the deepest of sleepers, where those who sleep lighter would want one of the two quieter settings. The LED display is perfect. It's large enough for me to see without my glasses on, and it can be seen from quite a distance across any room. Mine has the white LED display, which I find to be more like a slate gray color. I chose it because it's more neutral than the red or blue option, and it works well for me. I think it would be cool if you could select different colors like you can with the night light, but that really doesn't matter much to me. SUMMARY: Other than not having a 7-day multi-alarm feature and the ability to choose between a 9 or 5 minute snooze interval, this clock is the closest I can find to the perfect morning alarm clock. They're inexpensive enough that I might just buy a second one with the blue LED, just so I can change things up when I want. This alarm clock is worth every penny, highly recommended! I just received this alarm clock and it exceeds my expectations! It is extremely easy to read (the digits are slightly less than 2" tall) and at its brightest setting, it is very bright and easily seen during the day. At the lowest dimmer setting, you can barely make out the time during the day although in a dark room you might be able to see it so it doesn't turn off completely but is very dark. The dimmer is a slider so you can choose any level from almost off to bright. It is also VERY easy to setup. The instruction sheet is excellent but even without it, every button on the back makes sense. It has a button for Alarm Pause which is raised and red on the back of the clock to turn off the alarm each day so it will sound the next day. The is also a separate slider to turn the alarm all the way off if you don't want to use the alarm and of course you can press the Snooze button on the top center of the alarm clock if you want to get another 9 minutes of sleep. There are separate buttons to set the time and the alarm. You simply press the one you want and use the hour and minute buttons on the top of the clock to set them. There is also an alarm volume slider and a time format slider to switch between 12 and 24 hour (military time) format. Finally, you can press and hold the time set button for a few seconds and the DST light will come on and an hour will be added to the time for Daylight Saving Time. When it is over in 6 months, simply press and hold the time set button for a few seconds and the DST light will go off and it will move the time back one hour. It is a manual process but you only do it twice a year and it is a little more convenient then having to fully set the time back and forth every six months. The colors of the night light can be changed each time you press the Snooze button on the top. They look good too and if you press and hold the Snooze button you can turn off the night light. The alarm clock has a very clean look and is easy to see and to use. The digits are bright, clear and consistent (no part of any digit appears to be brighter or darker than other parts of the digits). I highly recommend it! ... show more

Cheap made clock. But it’s decent for a kid. The A/C adapter it came with to plug the usb into to get power to the alarm clock was broken and doesn’t work. We used our own that we had a spare with and the clock turned on. Overall it’s a decent clock. All the features work and the alarm is pretty loud. Has a multi color light function instead of just having one light to choose from. Other then the A/C adapter not working it’s ok. Clock is worth $10 not what there charging ... show more

The clock unit itself seems exactly as described and is what I was expecting. However the 120V to USB adapter that came with it, literally fell apart when I opened the package. Fortunately I had a spare adapter to use, and didn't end up sending it back because of this. As I said, the clock unit seems great so far. It is easy to use and set.
