I hate this vacuum with passion. This is my second robo vac after the first gave out after 4 years of use. I bought the black version, which I immediately regretted after the first use. Within one minute of first use it was covered with dust and looks like its been used for years. The vacuum gives limited cleaning options, only three whereas other offer 5+. My old vacuum had a zig zag option that I loved and ensured all the spots in my place were cleaned. The auto mode on this vacuum is absolute horrid. It makes frequent weird turns and misses spots that are in the middle of space. When use the controller to redirect it to go straight towards actual mess, it makes a turn after two seconds and goes in a completely different direction, which is very frustrating. To use the controller you need to be within 3 feet, it does not respond if the distance is greater. This is quite annoying as I must make my way towards the vacuum charging station and turn it on. For the money I paid, I wish I would have gotten something other. ... show more

    • The mop feature is pointless.
The mop feature of this vacuum is pointless. It also doesn’t seem like the mapping feature works very well at all - there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to where it goes. It’ll vacuum the same spot ten times and the other half of the room is still dirty. I also can only do a room at a time per charge because of how in effective the mapping feature is. ... show more

    • Do not get suckered into a “good deal”
This not-so-smart vacuum can run on a schedule but the only option is random mode, so there is no consistency in what it cleans. It has never fully completed a cleaning session without getting lost, stuck on something or running out of battery. Our previous vacuum had the intelligence to know when to go home to charge and resume cleaning later. But every day it is a hide and seek to find this thing. We have no faith in the vacuum to even try the mopping feature, but I can’t imagine it being any good. The app is not intuitive at all, and leads users to pay for a SMS service in order to get updates if the robot is stuck or needs attention. Do not get suckered into prime day or Black Friday deals. This vacuum is a game-changer for my cleaning routine. It efficiently removes dust, pet hair/feathers, and debris with its powerful suction and roller brush. I have a pet bird with a lot of dandruff and feathers, and with the introduction of this vacuum, no more headaches about cleaning every day. Imagine letting a child vaccum your floors, that’s what you can expect when you use this one. The vacuum works, but not to my standards. The app allows you to adjust the settings a bit, but it never learns your house. It picks up a fair a mount but I would buy this expecting to never have to vaccum yourself again. Oh it also can’t find the charger in a larger house. Over all, don’t hate it but don’t love it ... show more

This thing gets stuck on everything, ive had it for three months and it runs nightly and I have not once found it back on the charging dock because it is stuck on something like the edge of the couch, side of a chair, lip of an area rug, foot of the rocking chair, threshold of a door…ive had other cheap robovacs (Eufy) for years and never had one get stuck on a piece of dust like this thing. If you want something cheap but good get a Eufy, they only last a couple years but they work great for that time and are cheap. No way this thing is worth $500…I paid $150 and im getting rid of it. ... show more
