These just lift the car up 2 and a half inches, but that's enough on my RAV4 to be able to work under the car comfortably. They're light and small, which makes them simple to store without using a lot of space. Also, if I accidentally were to roll over the ends, it wouldn't cause any damage. I’m pretty slim so, it gave me just enough room to squeeze under my car(dodge dart) if your car is pretty low and you’re a rounder person, wouldn’t work. They seem sturdy and work as they should in my particular circumstances.
