The 4' x 8' Ice Equalizer Pillow relieves stress from the walls of your pool caused by ice. Ice Equalizer pillows also reduce the build-up of rain water, leaves and snow on your winter cover. All you have to do is inflate the pillow and place it under your cover during the winter months. Do not overfill the pillow with air, as this can cause the valve to pop out during the winter months.

I didn't love the reviews but bought 4 hoping that at at least 1 or 2 would work for me. I inflated 3 with my air compressor, closed the air intake as best I could (these get warped by how they are folded for shipping so its not so easy) and then I placed them under my pool cover. One snowy day later and 2 of them are completely deflated while the 3rd is almost deflated and will be soon. Incredibly frustrating, I don't see how to keep my cover from getting absolutely covered in ice and water when these products don't work. I don't know what to do with them now as pulling them out and folding them up for return is going to be a pain and very time consuming. Don't get this product. I wish I had an alternative for you, maybe a bunch of exercise balls? Just don't get this product. Update: I contacted the company and they quickly replaced the deflated pillows. They also recommended trying less air than before. I tried that, and it has been working well this winter! I just wish these had more attachment points to tie to. ... show more

thinking this would be great, no more draining after rain, leaves ,and keep my cover off the water, WRONG!!!!!! they steadily loose air, refill make sure top is inserted all the way in, after 5 days they have lost most air that the cover drags down to the water. not to mention I had one with a pinhole I had to repair, didn't want to send back close pool cover take it off and repeat the process to put in the bag. either way you have to remove partial cover to refill them. I purchased 5 of these and my pool still has weight issues with cover.. ... show more

Filled the pillow with air in the afternoon, left in the garage overnight to use the next day, it was deflated by that evening and even more deflated the next morning….and yes, I made sure the port was adequately closed. Tried to call Robelle and could not talk to a customer service person, you have to email with pictures to talk to some one, terrible.
