Description

The 4' x 8' Ice Equalizer Pillow relieves stress from the walls of your pool caused by ice. Ice Equalizer pillows also reduce the build-up of rain water, leaves and snow on your winter cover. All you have to do is inflate the pillow and place it under your cover during the winter months. Do not overfill the pillow with air, as this can cause the valve to pop out during the winter months.

Aired up, tried to put the plug in and 1 instantly rolled, trash that 1. Suited the other up, it lost air after a week so I pulled it and it rips as I'm trying to pull the plug. Thin, flimsy and easily rips. Both at the valve.

I didn't love the reviews but bought 4 hoping that at at least 1 or 2 would work for me. I inflated 3 with my air compressor, closed the air intake as best I could (these get warped by how they are folded for shipping so its not so easy) and then I placed them under my pool cover. One snowy day later and 2 of them are completely deflated while the 3rd is almost deflated and will be soon. Incredibly frustrating, I don't see how to keep my cover from getting absolutely covered in ice and water when these products don't work. I don't know what to do with them now as pulling them out and folding them up for return is going to be a pain and very time consuming. Don't get this product. I wish I had an alternative for you, maybe a bunch of exercise balls? Just don't get this product. Update: I contacted the company and they quickly replaced the deflated pillows. They also recommended trying less air than before. I tried that, and it has been working well this winter! I just wish these had more attachment points to tie to. ... show more

Pillow came in a plastic bag which was ripped open. After blowing up pillow, two separate tears were found. Had to patch both tears before use.

I ordered these and they will not hold air. One of them completely popped when blowing it up. Amazon sent a replacement box same thing will not hold air. Two of the replacements ripped at the air hole. Very upset customer.

Bought one of these for my above ground pool. After the first season, somehow one of the grommets ripped itself off over the winter. The cap on the fill hole barely stays in. I put a X of duct tape on it to keep it shut, and that seemed to work. Just filled it up for my third season last night, and put it in the pool in hopes of putting the cover over it today with a helper, and woke up to it deflated in my pool. The bad part here is basically there's "good" float out there on a market. They are all cheap and bust after a few seasons if you're lucky. They sell these in multi-packs for a big discount, so I'd suggest trying that. ... show more
