The 4' x 8' Ice Equalizer Pillow relieves stress from the walls of your pool caused by ice. Ice Equalizer pillows also reduce the build-up of rain water, leaves and snow on your winter cover. Our pool guy advised us, some years ago, that we might prefer the vinyl covers for covering our in-ground pool for the winter, and he was right--we can literally swim two hours after we open, unlike all our neighbors who opted for the "walk-on" covers. The drawback to the vinyl surface-skimming covers is that they stretch over time, and you need a way to be able to create an airtight seal--which can be difficult if you have strange curves and steps. This is where these pillows work their magic! Filled with water, these pillows allow you to keep your vinyl cover tight and prevent any contaminants from seeping under it. It is as wide as standard pool steps, which is awesome. Simply lay the cover inside the area of your pool's steps, and over the vinyl cover. Then fill it, in place, with water--not completely, but enough to anchor it well and have it conform to the area you place it in---it will conform to the area perfectly, and leave your pool crystal clean and perfect the entire off-season. Nothing will blow these out of place or disturb them, and they won't move around, even if you get a strong rain and these end up submerged. They are tough, sturdy, well-made, and reliable.

I bought this product (the 4X15 size) for my 15 X 24 oval pool this Summer for the length of the bubble - figured it would help to push any water accumulation during the winter to one side of the pool for easy removal. I inflated the bubble along with another round bubble and covered my pool. Not two days later, this bubble was completely deflated and the cover was completely resting on the pool. Since I had purchased the 2 pack, I gave the other to a friend. He inflated it today to cover the pool tomorrow - not 45 minutes later, the bubble was deflated from sitting on his deck! He put a medical grade waterproof air tight bandage over the plug after inflating it AGAIN. 20 minutes later - deflating again. I should have known from the price that this was too good to be true, but this product is a piece of garbage. I've been covering my pool for over 30 years and have had bubbles last me 2-3 seasons and this one didn't last 12 hours. Will never buy a Robelle product again.

These do not hold air. They come right out comes right out useless I bought others from you and they were fine. That’s why I bought more but now I’m sorry that I did buy more not made the same at all. Pure junk.
