Recently purchased a pre-certified CLA 45 2014 and didn’t think I could upgrade my original car stereo system until I stumble a crossed this page. With no ratings and reviews, I went online to research more about this android device and decided to give this unit a try. Delivery was super quick and I was eager to set it up quickly. Researching tutorials online the night before with the included instructions manual and fast customer service WhatsApp replies, I thought I could have done the installation myself within the hour. I was wrong. I ended up Yelping for Car Stereo Installment near me. My guy Christopher took less than 2 hours to have this installed. Even though it took longer than expected to have this done, I am sure glad that I have waited! This unit is beautiful! I am definitely happy that I got this upgrade. If I could only upgrade one thing in my car, this would be it. I can finally put down my phone and phone mount, and have touch screen and car play navigating through Google Maps, Spotify and Waze. There are many other functions such as going on YouTube and searching the Web, basically anything in the Google Play App Store you can use on this tablet. Even though it is not as smooth as an iOS system, the swipe on the screen is surprisingly very smooth. Best thing is the WhatsApp customer service. There were a few technical things that needed to be sorted and my guy on WhatsApp attended to all my needs and gave me all the newest updates for the software. Thank you! I have a 2014 Mercedes CLA, and this was a great replacement for my factory screen. Everything with the exception of a screwdriver was included for a true plug and play installation. This screen is esthetically pleasing, easy to use, connects to WiFi, and it’s pretty awesome that I can download apps like YouTube from the google play store. It also has the ability to use a SIM card to connect to a 4g network. Another added bonus- my car wasn’t made with a backup camera, and I was told by a pro that I would need to install a video module in order to use a backup camera.. not with this device! I also installed a backup camera, connected it to this screen and it works perfectly. Also, awesome customer service. Any help or questions I had were promptly answered via WhatsApp. I would highly suggest this product! ... show more

Update, the touch screen no longer works. I only used it for about a year. I had a really hard time with the install! I would NOT recommend doing it yourself. I ended up taking it somewhere to have it installed. I showed them a video that the seller sent me through WeChat. The install came out perfect, all of my factory settings still work too. I can use Waze, Chrome, Pandora, Hulu, Prime Video, you name it through the display screen. I haven’t gotten the Apple CarPlay dongle yet but I will update when I test that out. ... show more

The product is ok, but not quite as nice as it could be considering cost. Installation is fairly simple until you have to fuss with stuffing the chunky harness back into the dash. That took most of the time. Screen resolution is comparable to a regular 720p TV. The steering wheel audio controls and nob does not control all features of the android interface. Connecting to the internet is a bit slow. Netflix and Disney Plus does not work on mirror screen. Mirror screen is very slow to connect. Included RCA to 3.5mm Aux cable sucked. It looked like something you can get from the dollar store. Upgrading that cable to a thicker gold plated one solved the static interference. All in all, I think a solid 3 is fair. It isn't great and it isn't bad. The cost could be much less, around the $250-$350 mark IMO. The quality reminds me of a BOSS or Jensen brand. At $539, this product should perform similar to Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer, headunits. The only thing going for this is that those other brands do not make units for this vehicle. Oh and, the included interior panel removal tools did not come with it like the add says. Not that you really need it, but it would have been nice to get what your told on the add is included. ... show more

You will have problems with this screen. Most notably you will lose access to your car’s factory sound system. RoadTop claims that you will still have access to the center knob and original NTG functions. You will not. If you need customer service your options are to email an outlook account or to send a message to a WhatsApp account. please save your self the headache , it is not compatible with a 2015 cla45 AMG . I did and followed everything come to find out it does not work. looks more for 2014 cla models. wish it would had worked .
