My 80lb male german shepherd loves this toy. I’ve ordered it twice. No, the squeaker didn’t last very long in the first one but he still loved to teeth on it and it’s very durable. The first one lasted about 4 months until he broke through the material. My dog is very chew happy, otherwise I think it could last longer. Second cactus has lasted 2 months so far, squeaker included. I recommend, but if you have large, chew-happy dogs, they might tear through a little quicker. This is his FAVORITE toy. ... show more

The squeaker was gone in hours but she still has this one months later. She loves chewing on it but about a third of it is gone now. Makes a satisfying squeak as her teeth rake over it.

Our dog is an Australian labradoodle but he chews like Godzilla. Other toys we have purchased of theirs have lasted for months. Our boy was able to destroy this one in about a week. I give it a 3 because it might be good for a non-agressive chewer.

He's chewed of the nose and the paint on the eyes came off almost right away. But it's durable and still squeaking. He hasn't figured how to chew it out. He loves playing tug of war with it.

There aren't many toys that are actually indestructible when it comes to my dogs. Most toys last less than an hour. These have lasted a few days, but they are ripping them apart pretty quickly. If you have a dog that will continue to eat the toy once it rips off a piece these are not for you. My dogs rip them apart but spit the pieces out. I am constantly picking up little green pieces off of my floors, but it helps them with their teething and they are no longer tearing apart socks. I think it's a win in my house! ... show more
