I am a big & tall gal - 45" waist, 48" chest - so should be a 1x based on the chart. I ordered a 3x to accommodate for layers / sweater in winter. I can't even zip it closed over a pair of legging and a cotton T. The arms at the shoulders are a bit tight too. The design does not seem to take into account that large bodies hold their fat in certain places. If this were two sizes larger, the company would have a loyal customer: Shame too, as this product is well built, the faux fur soft, and the inner / outer shells are good quality. If Risissida would amend and build for BBWs, and fix that sizing chart they's give the plus size market a real run for the money. I truly like the product and am dissapointed I need to return it. (Although it would be great if they included hip measures on the chart for all long products.... hint!) ... show more

I bought this in December 2022 to use during winter here in Illinois and it did not disappoint. I'm 5'0 and 110lbs. I ordered the small and it fit great. It comes down to about 3in above my ankles which is perfect for me because it helps prevents cold air from hitting my legs. It kept me warm during our 15-20°F weather so I was happy about that. I have yet to use it in negative degree weather which we did not have this year so, I'll be able to do that next year if we ever do get low temperatures. I love the faux fur lining because it helps keep body heat in and also helps block cold air - although there is a buttoned lining that goes over the zipper that will do that for you too. I love the deep side pockets to keep my gloves and hands inside and the hood definitelt helps keeps my head warm even when I'm not wearing a beanie. I do have a couple of cons. The first being that it isn't quite flattering - at least for me since im short. It's great from the top to mid area but it gets boxy from the waste down and so, if your looking for something that also accentuates you body this may not be the one you're looking for if style matters. Second and not too big of a deal is the draw strings that help cinch the waist. It could be designed to have more style to fit the aesthetic but it just has a stretchy drawstring with a locking mechanism to keep the tightness or looseness of the waist area. Once you pull the string to cinch the waist, you're left with string the sticks out. It doesn't even dangle downwards so, I ended up wrapping part of the string around the locking memechanism and knotting the end of it to make it a bit more appealing. Anyway, I bought the coat mainly to keep me warm so, the cons I listed aren't too big of a deal for me. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it if you want a warm coat for winter that does not break the bank. They offer installment pay so, if you can't drop a 100 right away, you can opt to do that. ... show more

This is really a beautiful coat. It is a little expensive but I wanted one that was long enough to help Keep my legs warm in the winter. It was a perfect I am 5‘8“ and weigh approximately 180 pounds. It look just as it was pictured. I am very happy with this purchase.

But I had to return it. I'm not going stay up north, I'm moving back to Florida. where I definitely won't need it. This is the most beautiful and warm coat I've ever tried on. It made me consider staying in New York. The price is right, and it is warm and gorgeous. I feel bad returning it!

I purchased this jacket and also a jacket that was $60 more. I wanted a really warm, longer length, hooded jacket. I received them both on the same day. Without knowing which one was which, I had my husband give them to me and tried them on. I loved everything about this one more, the thickness, the warmth and the hood, compared to the other one. I thought for sure it was the more expensive one, but it wasn't! I told my husband I was keeping this one regardless of having to pay more for it. He said, no, that's the less expensive one. Fur makes it extra snuggly. It is rainproof and warm. The only little thing that I had to adjust is the elastic string that is on the chest area. I had to remove due to it was to tight. Had to get a XXL due to chest area and was told it runs small. Normally I wear a large/xl in clothes. The length is perfect., It goes down to my ankle and the double zipper is a nice compliment for those that need that bottom portion to unzip to drive. The fur part adds extra pizzazz and cuddles to the coat. Thank you for having the option to remove, for I had to remove it one day due to rainstorm was getting the fur wet. ... show more

Best coat ever and it's so warm! The length is perfect and fits really nice. The hood is dramatic which is #1 reason I got it! I'm 5'7 and the coat goes down to the middle of my calf.
