  • One of my favorite accessories in my Jeep
I bought one of these when I got my Jeep in 2016. I've kept extra hats, coats, gloves, socks, and scarves in it. It keeps everything dry and up out of the tub and holds a remarkable amount of soft stuff. When the hard top is on, it tucks in the corner and maximizes a space that would be otherwise unusable. I just bought a second one for the other side to keep some camping gear in. Well worth the purchase. ... show more

  • Good Solution for Storage on Wrangler JL - Mod Needed Through
I have this attached to the back of the roll bar on a Wrangler JL and it works well with a modification I made of adding two straps (Amazon MAGARROW 65" × 1.5" Utility Straps with Buckle Adjustable, 4-Pack (Black (4-PCS)) to the system (note only about 40" is actually needed for the strap length). I wrapped these straps once around the roll bar then around the bag and it stays rock solid in place (see reviews complaining about it rotating on the roll bar to one side or the other). The downside is that it makes it less convenient to access but I don't need access often and can still get some things out without unbuckling one or both supplemental straps. It holds two road hazard triangles, heavy duty jumper cables and a whole variety of bungies, ropes, etc. Very happy with the set up and have yet to see a better solution plus it is also water resistant in case you want to ride with the top down or off. ... show more

  • Works, but only kinda - trail use ok, DD not.
The bag itself is built very well and works as advertised. Unfortunately it doesn't cinch tight to the roll bar and is too lose for my taste. I'm retired Army and when we mount field gear we cinch it down tight so it doesn't bounce and flap and shake itself lose. This cannot. Also, I really found no good place to mount it. It either touches the rear window (oh, helllll no) or the head of the rear seat passenger. I also already have a fire extinguisher on one side so both won't really go together. The above is with the top up. Topless, I guess it would be a fun bag, mount it anywhere on the exposed rollbar. But as the wife's DD with top up, no real good place to mount it without risking it abrading the interior clear plastic window surface. I just use it to put flares, jumper cables, etc, and toss it loose in the back. This only partially solves the storage problem and the wife not fully happy. I've taken to fastening only one of its straps to the bottom of the roll bar and letting the bag dangle into the cargo area - this leaves it hanging vertically along one side of the cargo compartment and the wife is reasonably pleased it is out of the way as much as possible. I recommend this for trail use. The bag looks "waterproof " enough for me. I do not recommend for DD purposes esp with top up. ... show more

  • Good product, but take some time to consider what you want to store in it first.
I went between 3 and 4 stars because, it's really well made, it's exactly what it says it is, it looks pretty cool... however, it isn't a ridged bag so it's not going to stand up in that cylindrical form that you see in the picture. Which, is actually good because if it was firm it wouldn't fit very well in my Jeep. I have a Bestop Trektop NX, so there isn't enough room for the bag to sit straight up. It also interferes with the seatbelt if you're not careful how you install it. Lastly, you really have to consider what you're putting in there. The shape is not conducive to quite a few of the tools and gear I had envisioned using it for. All of that said, again, it's a well made product that is exactly as it is described. I'm sure if I had a JKU with a hardtop it would fit and not be a problem with the seat belt. Maybe put a tent or bed roll in there or something? ... show more

  • The straps to secure it would be better with clips!
The way the straps secure are not the best! If clasps were added they would be better!

  • Not for convenience
I got what I was told I would. Guess I thought it would be more of a "stuff sack" but it is quite stiff material. Unless the roof is off it is not easy to access the pockets and the small pocket is "small". Not real sure what would fit in there---keys maybe. My thought on buying it was to store my freedom panel storage bag in this bag (I have JK 2dr)-----it works well for that and fits the roll bar in the back corner---most people would not even notice it was there. So I am happy with the purchase but it is not something that is easy to access 3 or 4 times a day if that is what you have in mind ... show more

  • Lot of space for recovery gear, garbage strap buckles
Fits a 30’ 3” strap, 30’ 2” strap, snatch block and gloves with room to spare. Also threw a blindfold in the little pocket (I sleep in the back of my Jeep sometimes when camping). Bag appears to be high quality, however the straps and dual buckle method are complete trash. Cannot be synched down around roll bar effectively once bag is in place, have to try to guess and tighten before it’s in place. Will likely return if breaking the second buckle off doesn’t allow me to tighten them down. Super annoying as the bag is perfect besides the straps, but if it can’t keep things up and securely out of the way what’s the point. I already have a winch gear bag. ... show more

  • A convenient size bag to wedge into small areas on the jeep
I have a 2012 Wrangler JK Unlimited 4 door with a soft top. You will not be able to use this bag as the picture shows because it interferes with the raising and lowering of the soft top. Nevertheless I like the bag. I cannot place the bag straps around the roll bar however the bag size is good to wedge into other places. It is big enough for a fleece jacket and blanket. It does seem to be waterproof. The 4 stars are for the design. Because it is waterproof, a small amount of condensation can form on the inside if you closed it previously in humid conditions. I would raise the rating to 5 stars if they had installed a 1 way valve that would allow the moisture to be purged without opening it. ... show more
