🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

Customers generally love this e-bike for its speed, reliability, and fun riding experience. It is praised for being easy to assemble, comfortable, and suitable for a range of body types. Its solid construction, excellent battery life, and powerful performance stand out. However, some users noted issues with the pedal assist function and minor durability concerns with certain parts. Overall, the bike's performance seems to exceed expectations for the price.

Pros

  • 🚀 Fast and powerful, suitable for heavy riders
  • 🔧 Easy to assemble with helpful YouTube tutorials
  • 🌆 Durable through tough conditions, including DC potholes
  • 🌟 Looks cool and comes with bright headlights and taillights
  • 💡 Excellent battery life; lasting longer than anticipated on rides

Cons

  • 🔋 Battery performance can vary, with some users noting less range than expected
  • ⚡ Pedal assist feature may be overly aggressive and not stop immediately after pedaling
  • 🛠 Some components like the kickstand and front wheel may require regular tightening
  • ⏱ Charge time of 6 hours may be inconvenient for frequent use

Should I Buy It?

Yes, if you're looking for a fast, reliable e-bike that's fun to ride and offers good value for the price, this is a great option. While there are minor downsides, such as the pedal assist peculiarities and the need for occasional maintenance of certain parts, the pros far outweigh the cons for most users.

  • Pretty good ebike (updated)
I love in Washington DC and rent the escooters and bikes all the time and figured it was time to pony up and buy one. So this is the first ebike I've owned but not the first I've ridden. I just received it today and put it to the test. So although my review isn't based on owning this for months, I did put this baby through some tough conditions. Note, DC has a good number of 20-30 degree hills that I rode. And it was pouring rain tonight. I was hitting puddles that were up to my ankles. Pros - This thing is a better moped then an ebike. It functions well in pure moped mode. - very easy to put together but the instructions were crap. YouTube videos were very detailed and easy to follow. - ordered on Amazon and received 2 days later. - has good settings to set the gear you pedal at and they pedal assist settings. - looks cool and feels very sturdy. Mowed over DC potholes like it was nothing and the shocks absorbed the blows well. Very comfortable. - battery very easy to remove and take with you to charge. - headlight and backlight were the best of any ebike on the road with me. I'm sure some people thought I was on a motorcycle. Cons - battery seemed to not be as good as advertised. I got 25.7km and used a little less than 2/3 of a fully charged battery but I barely even touched the pedals and was going max speed over hills and everything else. So Id venture to bet if I used pedal assist at all I would more then double those numbers. For some reason, just having the bike parked and not plugged in now shows me that the battery has over half capacity left as if it has been charged some even though I haven't plugged it in since the ride. I suspect it drying out or resting and the battery cooling might give some charge numbers back? Not sure but will watch it more closely. - speed. Although I thought the speed was great. I was smoking fast is what it felt like. I had to slow it down most of the time. They advertise more then what I got (I think). On flat surfaces I got between 30-40kph and on uphills it was around 25kph. Most hills were around 25-30 degrees and pretty long hills also. So I was happy but again, I believe they advertised higher. - Pedal assist was pretty crappy. It assisted more then you would expect and would continue to assist well past when you stop pedaling which I'm sure will give less battery performance as a result. The DC street ebikes you rent are what I'm used to and their pedal assist is perfect. Exactly where you would want it to be and stops assisting after you stop pedaling but still let's the bike free drift. ... show more

  • Most bang for your buck (easy to modify/increase speed)
Style: 【upgraded Z8】1500w Ebike
Amazing e-bike for the price, outstanding product support. At this price I bought two and might just get a third (for myself and my 18 year old sons). Super easy to assemble (my son put his together all on his own); fun to ride. Not that it matters but you will get a ton of smiles and attention on these. I will say beware of a LEFT PEDAL defect, it will require constant and I mean - CONSTANT - tightening. Outside of that, with a few changes to the settings you’ll reach 49 MPH (if desired). One of my boys is big (285+ lbs) and I’ve rode it with my 8yr old daughter in the front holding the handlebar's - it works with ease. I didn’t opt for the spare battery but it would be a good investment. This puppy takes hills with ease and you never need worry about parking again. ... show more

  • Terrible Quality and Customer Service
Style: 【upgraded Z8】1500w Ebike
The media could not be loaded. The bike itself rides well, has good features(the blinkers, front light, etc), looks clean, has nice tires, but the quality has been horrible. Before we even got to ride it we realized they didn’t have the bike chain put on properly and after not even 1 full pedal it broke. Within a month after that the back tube popped and the video online on how to take it off didn’t help at all(our bike has 2 pieces that the bike in the video doesn’t even have. It also seems like the people in the video have extra equipment so it makes it seem like you can fix it easily but you can’t.) On top of that, 2 parts of the bike came assembled incorrectly(aside from the chain). Overall I haven’t been impressed and it doesn’t seem like you can do much to fix it other than shoveling out a ton of money at a repair shop. I haven’t written many reviews, but this was a terrible experience overall. Part 2: Even more terrible quality since the above review just a couple months after. The company offered a full review and then took it back once we asked for it. The kickstand suddenly broke in the middle of the night a couple of days ago. I woke up to a crashing sound to find it laying on our garage floor with the bolts that held the kickstand in place completely snapped in half. The brackets that the stand is screwed into also bent and is no longer perfect(also, we had tightened the bolts independently many times because they don’t stay in). One of the bolts that keeps the chair in place fell out mid ride and we no longer have it and have another screw in place for the meantime. As of this week while riding we heard a scraping noise from the back tire. Looks like the wire that connects the battery to the back tire is slowly coming out of place and is scraping along one of the brake mechanisms. Obviously that is problematic because if the electrical components fail, I’m hosed. My advice; find another bike, literally any other bike. ... show more

  • Great Bike!!!
Style: 【upgraded Z8】1500w Ebike
This is my first E bike and it’s so amazing!! The assembly was very easy. It rides real smooth! Not the best when it comes to off roading so I usually stick to the pavement and flat dirt paths but nonetheless great bike will purchase again! 😊

  • Great bike for the price, but brakes are bad.
Style: 【upgraded Z8】1500w Ebike
I've had this bike for about 1 month. After putting 250 miles on it, I am thoroughly satisfied. Using just the throttle (no pedaling) I was able to go full speed for about 25 miles on one battery. It achieves a speed of 28 mph, however, it takes about 30 seconds to reach this speed on flat streets, and slows down to 20 mph when going uphill. The light is nice and bright, the horn is loud, and the blinkers work, as well as the tail light and brake light. Out of the box, I am not satisfied with the brakes. They are not strong enough and needed serviced right after assembling. The bike is about as heavy as you'd expect, I am able to load it into an suv withought problems regarding wieght. It takes up as much space as any other bike, maybe even a little shorter than most bikes. Assembly took about 3 hours and ran into problems. ... show more
