    • Perfect if you don't have pannier racks on your bike.

I bought these for my Suzuki V-Strom 1000 when riding off road. I have Shad hard cases which don't utilize your normal pannier racks so typical soft saddlebags would not work and I didn't think the hard cases would take a fall well. These bags don't require any rack. The two bags connect in the middle, over the rear part of the seat then tie down to your frame, passenger footrest, etc. Straps are long enough to fit any bike and there is a system to secure the loose ends or they can be cut/melted to your custom fit. I have the largest bags which fit my bike well, smaller would probably work for dual sports or sport bikes. They are waterproof and roll up like dry bags to close. Ordered this bag for a upcoming trip on my Wr250r. The straps are long, but you can roll the straps and use the provided velcro built on the straps to tighten them up. Also, something that was helpful to tidy up the straps was a roll of velcro bought from harbor freight. The bag quality seems good, it's thicker then I expected from the price range. The large size seems about perfect on the WR and the Drz. Glad it didn't go with the XL. UPDATE: The bags held up great, but the plastic buckles on the main straps that go over the seat are weak and can fail. 8 miles into our ride, my buddy who also bought these for this trip had his buckle fail, the bag went into the rear tire and chewed up the bag, destroying his new bag. We used zip ties ect to get us threw the trip. The bags also tend to sag toward the rear tire after time. I'm not sure I'll use them on another ride, might just go with a Giant loop as another guy in our group had (with no issues) Or I'll have to atleast find some metal buckles to replace the plastic ones. ... show more

Good product design when considering functional uses, the problem is these saddlebags are not made with good quality material. The bag material is thinner than I'd expect for the use of these bags. Thin enough that where straps are welded on and serve as a point of stress I suspect will fail. The material is also thin enough that I suspect these bags are not tough enough to survive a minor incident or brushing against a bush or tree limb. As long as they remain in tack they're water proof, but for the money $145 the value just isn't there. I'll focus on getting a better product. ... show more

Thought it was user error at first but there was no way that this bag was making any direct contact with the muffler. Took the bag off after a recent camping trip and my tent was completely burned through FROM THE MUFFLER GUARD Sent an email to Rhinowalk - no response. $200 dollar tent ruined, you get what you pay for. Update: Rhinowalk did send a refund for the heatsink and bags. They're doing what they can to make it right which is very much appreciated. But still waiting to hear about my tent. ... show more

I like these because they hold more than you would think. The bags are heavy duty and appear to be completely waterproof. They fit on my Husqvarna with a timber rack but were confusing to attach at first, with no instructions and lots of attaching straps and buckles.
