Rheem RTG-84XLN-1 is a mid-efficiency outdoor natural gas tankless water heater designed for continuous hot water. Industry leading low flow activation with a minimum flow rate of .26GPM and minimum activation flow rate of .40GPM ensures hot water is received even in low demand situations. Ultra Low NOx burner meets SCAQMD rule requirements of safety with low emissions. While our exclusive Guardian Overheat Film Wrap prevents our units from reaching the dangerous temperatures others can. Add in our maintenance notification settings, self-diagnostic system and EcoNet enabled mobile app feature (additional kit available), buying the Rheem RTG tankless water heater makes perfect sense. Included are a digital remote control and 10ft. of thermostat wire. As this unit is for use outdoors no venting is required. Best if used with up to 3 bathrooms; .81-.82UEF (.82EF Canada), 180,000BTU efficiency. Professional installation is required otherwise warranty void. Warranty: 12yr heat exchanger, 5 yr parts and 1 yr labor.

The unit works as advertised, it did arrive dented very badly, not what I expected for an item costing 1k, well I mean, I kind of expect it these days, however, once i pulled the case dents back into some operational configuration, I was able to mount it. 2 parts of the directions could be more clear so here they are.... the remote wires use black top and white bottom on both the unit and the remote, they do not tell you this but it is in pictures as this and it works the power block is not the part on the left with the bright sticker, and yours may not, but mine had wires preconnected, to the block, it is behind a small metal guard in the center of the unit, again not the part labeled 120 connection, why I will never know in any case, this heater works very well apart form the inability for companies and sellers to take care of items and send new items when new items are purchased, I like the heater, as far as a seller that would ship an item dented and deformed this badly as new, I have a good spot for them too.....you can elaborate on your own, that is all; ... show more
