    • Works well as a tree stand addition
It was designed to hang on the rails of a commercial tree stand such as the Muddy 20 foot stand. It works well for that without a hitch. It is handy to get a hold of the things needed, especially during the rut. The rattlin' antlers, grunt call and other items are much more handy than hanging on a hook behind you or in pockets. It will hang on the front or side with Velcro straps. I gave it a 4 star rating not because of the bag quality or its function but rather for what could be added to make it better. If it had a simple thin shoulder harness like a back pack, a neck front harness or a handle to carry by hand, it could easily be carried from tree stand to tree stand as needed. I could put my needed items in the pack and take them without use of a backpack as well. I might have my wife add one of the above to the pack for latter in this deer season. ( she's a great seamstress). I have a lot of extra straps from various tree stand harnesses which can be used. I have a good climbing harness and never used any that come with stands these days. The bag is a good size, about the size of a normal lunch cooler but obviously less bulky. The zippers are good enough quality and I like the size and number of pockets. The velcro should hold up decently in the short term connected to a stand or similar. I am not a fan of the noise level of either the velcro or zippers - if you're trying to be quiet these will make a lot of racket. So you either need to take the bag in early and leave it there, which may not hold up well to weather, or just leave it unzipped, which exposes it to the elements. For a general storage that is camo colored, great, but for actual hunting, I'm not sure. ... show more

My husband wanted this bag for his tree stand. The first thing we noticed when we opened the package was the smell. It has a strong odor of plastic. I would recommend airing it good outside for a few days or washing it in a scent free detergent before taking it to the woods. The next thing we noticed was the quality of the zippers. 2 of the zippers were pulled apart in the center but when we zipped the zipper over them, they did close back up. We ran all of the zippers a few times and they do seem to be working but I don’t think they are going to be durable for long. They are on the cheaper side. The bag itself has potential with all the pockets and the size of the inner compartment. My husband is going to use it and hopefully it will last awhile. We could only give it 3 stars. ... show more

As other hunters have noted, this is a noisy bag! The zipper, velcro, and material itself make a lot of noise when in use. My husband spends a lot of time hunting and camping and, sadly, was not impressed with this bag. One of the zippers was off track (he managed to fix it) and he felt it was on the cheaply-made side. The velcro and buckle straps, for example, were very lightweight (you can see the wrinkles in the photos), and the interior was something that he feels does stand up well to the cold. While it could be used as a carry bag for camping, it's really not a hunting bag. Unfortunately, not recommended. ... show more

I got this for my husband who enjoys sitting in his tree stand a lot more than working. My husband takes a good two weeks off in hunting season in PA and loves just sitting in the tree stand, so when I saw this I had to have it. I liked it for holding his coffee cup, and also attaches to his tree stand so it is one less thing he needs to worry about falling out of the tree stand. I suggested putting his coffee and his snacks inside this where they are easy to get to and will keep them dry if its raining. When we received this, i unpacked it an dgave it to my husband and he really liked it. I told him I thought he had something similar (what do I know) and he said he didn't and that made me happy. I can see him using this come November, when his life is put on hold for hunting season, and that is okay with me. ... show more
