I bought this prior to the hunting season in hopes to give myself time to set it up and hunt with my son. When I finally got out to the woods, none of the hardware was in the package. I wasted the entire day getting everything to the woods and then not having the parts. When they finally sent me the parts I began to set it up in my shop but again was missing one piece that sturdys the standing part to the seats. I rigged something up because I wasn’t going to wait another long time before they sent me more and I need time to do this. When I go it to the woods again….the thing is so big and wobbly, there is no way I’m sitting in this let alone putting my son with me in this. When I told them all about this and asked for a refund because it’s essentially trash, they gave me a hard no because it ls past the 30 day mark. Total crap. Hunt with your sons in a different stand or ground blind. This thing is not safe. ... show more

Most comfortable stand I have set in. Not the easiest getting up but once it is you can sit all day in it. My wife and I will be hunting it together this gun season. Railing is pretty tall to bow hunt out of but I kept it raised behind the seat.

    • Late shipping and poor packaging
Stand is great once up. Pretty heavy as expected . I haven’t reviewed more than a couple of things in the last 25 years of adulthood. Ordered two. One arrived as expected. Second took 2 weeks longer than anticipated. Major complaint is packaging. Every part has multiple places where the coating has scratched off. I’m not talking about a minor scratch. Aesthetics not of concern, but will likely cause early rusting. Second box had obviously fallen apart with the amount of tape placed. Luckily, all parts are accounted for. Great stand for price. When our tree stand arrived all the instructions, hardware and straps were missing. The company's customer service responded immediately to my request. They sent all the missing parts that same day. The tree stand seems to be sturdy and comfortable.

    • Disapointing
I have used Big game treestands for many years and have always found them very comfortable and very sturdy. I was excited to receive a two person stand from a company I trust. Unfortunately I received the opposite of what I expected. After opening the box and laying out the parts I opened the assembly instructions only to find that they were not for this model treestand. I tried to call the company and was on hold for a very long time. While on hold, I searched for the manual and was able to download a .PDF copy to work from, so I just hung up with customer service. After that I began construction only to find that I was missing a bolt. Once I got to the seat a realized that the seat stops were wider than the the seat frame so the seat, when folded down, falls right through the stops. After spending nearly $300 dollars on a well known brand of treestand I expected a quality, reliable treestand but now I have poorly engineered treestand with a ratchet strap holding the seat together that I really don't have confidence in. As a Design Engineer myself, I must say I am Very Disappointed!!! ... show more

    • Not what I was hoping for
The assembly was relatively easy and I had no missing parts. The shooting rail is high and wobbly. My biggest gripe with this stand is the ladder. They used a very weak and pliable metal. I feel like it could snap at any minute. If that was corrected I would have given it 4 stars
