  • Easy to use without power tools
Item Package Quantity: 10 Color: Warm White with Grey Grout
I purchased this tile to use as a kitchen backsplash until I get around to installing new countertops. I put them up in mid July 2022; photos attached are from January 2023, but nothing's changed. I did not have a backsplash previously, so these were placed directly on the drywall. They definitely don't feel real, but guests have thought I learned how to tile when seeing it up, not realizing it's a peel and stick vinyl. I like to bake a lot and use the range quite often. It's also often getting splashed with water from the sink. Over a year later, I have not had any issues with peeling or yellowing. Where there's been yellowing is from caulking when I last worked on the countertops. The tile itself still looks the same as when I installed. The paint originally was pretty flat, so the adhesive is pretty stuck on there. I expect due to this when I do finally remove them, I will damage the wall. I put some of the left over tiles on the wall inside a bathroom vanity, and since that is a semigloss, I had an easier time pulling the tile off to adjust than I did in the kitchen. These are very easy to cut; I mostly used scissors, but a utility knife works fine as well. I have a vinyl floor tile cutter, and decided to try that to get as perfect of a straight line possible, but this tile is not sturdy enough to be cut using it and tended to just bend. The blade would then rough up the front of the tile. Overall, it has been good. There is only one spot above the stove top that doesn't sit quite flush on the wall, but it has been that way since install as I didn't get the tiles lined up exactly right and is my fault. I had worried that area would be an issue later on, but it hasn't changed either. The tiles are also still bright white, and are easy to clean up if something splatters on it. ... show more

  • Best Bang for Your Buck—WILL Cover Existing, Bumpy or Uneven Ceramic/Mosaic Tile
Item Package Quantity: 10 Color: Warm White with Grey Grout
Let me preface this by saying I never leave reviews like this for products (even the ones I love) and I also have, historically, never before been much of a DIY’er. However, I felt inspired to leave one for these vinyl tiles, and hope my feedback will be helpful. You should know that my experience with DIY projects is extremely limited. I’m one of those people who wishes they were ‘crafty’ SO much that I’ve wasted money and time on several half-baked DIY projects I’ve decided to take on—and have never completed—bc, as it turns out, I am *not* all that crafty, and either early-on or halfway through, I’ll realize this and give up. But only AFTER I’ve already bought the supplies and made a mess. Fast forward to 2021– I figured it was time I learned from my mistakes, so I researched a LOT when I decided I wanted to finally tackle remodeling our (formerly) dark, dank, cluttered and outdated kitchen. I read a lot of DIY & design blogs and lots of online + Amazon product reviews. I needed to do this on a TIGHT BUDGET and wanted to transform the “black, spray painted cabinets, brownish color palette with earth-tones-colored ceramic mosaic tile backsplash”-kitchen we inherited when we bought our first home 7 years ago, into the “white palette, modern farmhouse”-kitchen I saw all over Pinterest. But WITHOUT breaking the bank. If you’ve also decided that peel and stick vinyl decals are the option for your DIY project, and you have anywhere from “minimal” to “I'm a pro, bro”-DIY experience, then THIS IS THE BRAND FOR YOU! I initially tried using a different brand/different tile option to cover our existing ceramic mosaic tile-backsplash, that was well-reviewed but not as well-reviewed as Stickgoo, and was a little less expensive, and found early-on that it just wasn’t going to look nice or real enough to go to all the trouble of measuring it all out. Since I was trying to cover a mostly-smooth but also uneven and bumpy surface, adhesion and the quality of the texture was important, or it would just look cheap. I read more product reviews and gave these a shot, and I’m so glad I did! They’re a great value for the money and are a superior option, as far as thickness and texture quality goes. There are a few areas that aren’t perfect bc lining everything up can be tricky and takes time, and we also discovered (like others who left feedback like this that helped!) that our kitchen walls and granite countertops were *not* actually “level”, so had we started off using a leveler to then pre-measure and cut the tiles to fit, they would’ve been really “off.” I used TSP to clean the tiles we were covering, and made sure they were dry before sticking anything to them. You’ll definitely need a utility knife (I found that an Exacto-Knife was not strong or sharp enough to slice the tiles evenly, and the “vinyl-slicer” I bought off Amazon, broke early-on), a metal ruler, and I would recommend also using one of those metal square tools that also has a ruler on it, for measuring and lining tiles up to cut down. I ended up ordering too much bc I was worried about not having enough or messing some up (which did happen) and then running out, but I believe I ordered (4) packs and ended up using like 2.5. My husband did the majority of the adhering-part, but all-in-all, it turned out really well! Those who have seen it couldn’t tell they weren’t real tiles until I told them, and then only if they were up really close and could see the 2 or 3 areas that weren’t perfect. I have had to push a few peeling tiles back down, but it’s not something I’m concerned about yet, and they’ve always gone back to being stuck very easily. I’m happy with it and am glad I found this product!! ... show more

  • Good looking but backing is hell to get off.
Item Package Quantity: 10 Color: Cream Marfil
Ordered theee case of this for my elderly neighbor who was hit by the hurricane in fl. We liked the backsplash but getting the paper off of the sticky side was hell. There needs to be a pull tab to start the peeling away for the actual title.

  • Bandaids and Cuss Words
Item Package Quantity: 10 Color: Warm White with Grey Grout
Was happy to find a solution to the hideous 1950's formica backsplash in my rental home. Little did I know the sure strength, willpower and many cuss words it would take to remove the paper backing off using very sharp instruments like razors, needles, and knives. All and all the project was a success, but I lost a good amount of blood from my struggles. The manufacturer needs to come up with a solution for this annoying and difficult part of the product. For the most part, I am SUPER happy with the end results but need a good amount of recovery time before using this product again. I think it is a great idea when in a rental that you can't make permanent changes to. Living in this place for a year while my new home is being built is much more enjoyable when it looks fresh and clean. (no matter what I did to the backsplash, nothing could make it look clean or cover all the holes) I'd give it 5 stars but can't with this problem. ... show more

  • Looks great for being vinyl
Item Package Quantity: 10 Color: Cold White with Black Grout
Looks fantastic for being vinyl in my opinion and only took about 15-30 min to install so very user friendly. Not sure how it will hold up since it’s peel and stick but it will serve it’s temporary purpose until I save up for new countertops and backsplash. This would be very renter friendly if someone wanted to update they’re rental space. ... show more
