I bought these to do a quick and easy update to my kitchen because I didn’t want to demo my old backsplash and could stick these on the old tile (which worked well on the porous type of tile I had that you see in the before pic). The adhesive is VERY sticky, which is both good and bad…Great for staying power,, however, I did not anticipate how difficult it would make the installation. The adhesive does not allow for ANY wiggle room or adjustment like regular tile does if you mess up, which means you have to be very very meticulous when placing these on the wall, especially around outlets. When I messed up the first one around an outlet and had to try to take it off to fix it, the adhesive actually stayed stuck to the wall and the plastic tiles broke off instead. When laying a single sheet, it’s not so bad, but when you have to place around outlets, it was really hard to work with because if even the smallest part touches the wall or outlet or anything, it will stick pretty well and trying to pull that part off without causing other parts to stick is just frustrating. I consider myself to be patient and very meticulous, and this was a headache for me. So if you aren’t patient or meticulous, I would not recommend you try this. With that being said, these were fairly easy to cut. I used a Dremel tool with the thin cut wheel blade and a small exacto knife to cut in between where the “grout” line is. (I would NOT recommend scissors-they will not cut thru the material as it’s too hard.) I would highly recommend placing painters tape or similar on the surface where you will mark and cut. The friction heat from the dremel can cause dark marks on the white parts. Overall, I am happy with the results. I was able to do roughly 26 sq ft of backsplash in a day and a half by myself, which was me being slow and meticulous. Hope this review helps! Good luck! ... show more

Definitely recommend!! I spent a hours/days/weeks/years searching for backsplash. I’ve wanted to put up backsplash for years but just overwhelmed and I am not good with measurements or using tools. I’ve had up contact paper for a couple of years(in the second picture) since I knew putting title would be too much of a task for me.. I’m thankful for the previous review so I took the leap. I am still in the process of completing the backsplash but wanted to show how it looks up horizontally and adding grout is a game changer!! Honestly I was only 80 % satisfied without the grout but knew I was adding grout so after doing a small spot it definitely looks so much better and I am 100 % happy!! If you’re considering this product, I hope this helps! Update: last picture is the finished product. Definitely would recommend. Best stick on product out there. Grouting would be necessary to achieve the desired “backsplash” look. ... show more

I thought I was getting grey not metallic. Also 3 of the tiles had damage to a corner I found it odd that not all were damaged. Other than that...it is beautiful ♡

Just had new black, grey and white granite countertop put in kitchen. This background for backsplash is a beautiful color match to brighten up against white cabinets and counter top. Can be cut to fit. Looks realistic with a stone look with a shine to it.
