I'm a deep sleeper so I need a loud alarm to wake me. This one is awesome! The colors are neat too, but that's just a perk. The only thing that could be improved, is if the display dimmer could go just a little darker. The light is still a bit bright at the minimum setting. But that's not a deal breaker because I just turn it away from my face at night. It would work great as a night light for kids. I bought this clock hoping it would be loud enough to wake up my boyfriend. It has done the job pretty well. It is loud but i don't know how much louder a person would want to wake up to. It's annoying to me but it gets the job done. It has nice big numbers and it looks nice on his night stand. It lights up nice and bright and when it goes off you know it, unless your half dead to the world. I don't like it but he does and since he is the main worker in the house I tolerate it. The color changing feature is something I really like. Not only is it attractive but it really makes the time easier to read from across the room. I am totally pleased with my purchase. I just wanted a clock to clearly show the time that could be seen from across the room and this does it perfectly. Update: I have had this for 5 days over return date and I guess I have to throw it away. The clock started losing time a couple nights ago. I had a hard time resetting the time and figured there must’ve been a slight power outage. Well, the clock is just losing time, like in 12 hours. It will lose four hours! I cannot get the clock reset And obviously something is wrong with it so I’m going to have to throw it away and I’m very unhappy about it. ... show more
