Assassins creed always drains the battery so quickly, I've been playing it now for 3 days and haven't had to recharge. A lot of folks talk about how you have to charge it separately, but that's really not big deal for me. Also, I haven't noticed a difference in draw with the led on vs off. So far, so good! I’ve been using this head strap for a few weeks & I like it! I haven’t really needed to use the battery, so I can’t comment on battery life. But, comfort is great! I’ve had cervical spine surgery. C5,C6 & C7 are fused & I have a plate and screws there. So weight on my head often causes neck pain. I’ve tried other (more expensive) straps & I couldn’t use the VR for long because the weight bothered my neck. The design of this head strap distributes the weight a lot more evenly & doesn’t cause pain in my neck,so I can use it a lot more! Very happy with it ... show more

I own the quest 2 with the elite battery strap but due to the price, I decided to go another route with the quest 3. At first glance, this head strap is great. It's comfortable, affordable and easy to adjust. The battery length is less than what it claims, but this is most likely due to the extra power the quest 3 draws over the 2, and that's far from a deal breaker. I honestly only have one complaint about the headset and based off other reviews from other sets it's pretty much the norm, and that's the fact you can't charge the quest using the headset, you have to charge both independently. Again, I have yet to see a review for another headset where this is possible so I can't really call this a flaw. All in all, this is a very worthy purchase for anyone who doesn't want to pay META prices for a similar device. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I recently upgraded to the quest 3 and the default strap does not feel comfortable at all. I didn’t want to put money into the elite strap so I opted for this. It’s very comfortable and easy to adjust onto your head. As for the added battery it was a bonus for me. I personally don’t need it as when I game I leverage my PC’s GPU so I keep it plugged in.
