One coat worked just fine, the color is beautiful as is the shine. The nail polish started chipping on the second day. I used a base and a top coat. I purchased No Drama and I love the color. It looks like what one would imagine Spring to look like. It is true to the colored picture. I only needed one coat; however, I always use a base coat and a glossy top coat. The polish is not glossy, which is why I used a top coat. The polish lasted a long time and looked great. One drawback is I do not like the brush. The brush is too fat, which makes it difficult to paint on the small nails, so I gave the review a 4 for easy to use. When I got it it had been opened and used. The bottle didn’t just leak. There were finger prints on the outside in the polish. The brush had junk in it. The coverage is AWFUL! The polish is lumpy.
