It worked very well on my thin and fine curly hair. I was very skeptical at the beginning because my hair started falling out even more than before, but it turned out that my hair was so damaged that it needed a long overdue haircut. Cutting my hair seems to have helped and it’s not falling out like it used to. The shampoo did help my hair look shiny, full, and healthy. I noticed that when I use other shampoos that are made specifically for curly hair, my hair loses its shine and goes back to looking frizzy, which is strange. The shampoo smells minty. A little goes a long way. You do need a hair conditioner if you have dry hair. Mine is. You also need to figure out what works best for your hair. There are unfair things, other than the shampoo, that we do to our hair that really damage it (i.e., hot water, brushing hair when it’s wet, using the wrong hair products, etc). Although I really like the shampoo, I think it’s too expensive, so I’m not sure I’ll be buying it on a regular basis. That’s my only problem with it. These shampoos work really well to slow male pattern balding. But u need to use them right. 5-7 mins of the shampoo soaking in your hair. Then 7-9 minutes of the conditioner. It worked for me. My hair looked better, felt better and certainly seemed like it got thicker

I was looking for a replacement for Nioxin ever since they changed the formula. This shampoo is the best I ever ordered! First, it is SLS-free which means it is gentle on the scalp. It lathers really well with using only a small amount and gives a nice tingly feeling to your scalp. It has a great minty smell. The formula also includes zinc pyrithione and selenium sulfide, which has some anti-dandruff properties. And it helps give my thinning hair a little volume. SO if you are looking for these things in a shampoo, this will fit the bill perfectly. What it will probably NOT do, however, is regrow or slow down your hair loss. So if you are a getting it for this purpose, don't get your hopes up. There is no shampoo out there that can magically do that.
