  • "Revenge" A Fan Favorite Decades Later. Sounding even Better on 180 Gram Vinyl!
Clearly, the best, most concise KISS album during their "non-make up years". Sounding fresh and better than ever on 180 gram vinyl! "Revenge" is the 16th studio album Kiss, released on May 19, 1992. Excellently, produced by the legendary, Bob Ezrin. Opening the album, The Demon, Gene Simmons returns to his evil self with "Unholy"! Co-written by ex-KISS axe-man Vinnie Vincent. Vincent co-writes 2 other tracks on "Revenge", "Heart Of Chrome" and the 2nd of 5 singles of the album, "I Just Wanna". Other stand out songs are the ballad and single, "Every Time I Look At You", the tongue-in cheek Simmons now, "classic", "Domino". The incredible, re-write of a song originally done by the band, "Argent" but barely recognizable and vastly improved "God Gave Rock & Roll To You II". The song has the late Eric Carr's final performance on background vocals. He was too ill to play drums on the track, originally recorded for the soundtrack of "Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey-Soundtrack". but appears on drums in the video just 3 months prior to his death from "Heart cancer". Pretty every track on the album is a stand-out song and remains one of KISS' most revered albums by the fans. ... show more

  • Just for fans
If you are a KISS fan, you must know that this is one of the best non-makeup era album. Excellent production, excellent sound and, overall, great songs. Celebrating 40 years of rock and roll party, KISS has launched its discographie on vinyl format. If you are hesitant to buy it or not, you need to know that the product is awesome. No background noise, excellent cover (just like the original), inner sleeve with lyrics. A highly recomended product. This is your chance to get a record that is has been difficult to find, for a reasonable price, for years. ... show more

  • KISS Found Their Ball$
Revenge is a great hard rock record, it's just a shame it came out in 1992. Had it been released in 1990, or even earl '91, I believe this could have been KISS' elusive #1 charting album.

  • This is the one to get of the Non Make-Up years
Sounds great on Vinyl! One of their heaviest but also best produced and best songwriting efforts post Creatures of Night, the other must have of non Ace and Peter years... my only regret is that Eric Carr didn't get to play on this one, Singer's great but just wish Carr got to bang with Ezrin at the helm again to make up for their misfortunes on Elder together. Unholy, Domino, Heart of Chrome, I just Wanna - great tunes they should be playing live NOW! Get it, you won't be sorry! :) ... show more
