I apply it to my son's hair at night (just the oil, no need to even mix it with a leave-in), put on his satin cap, and in the morning, his hair is soft and movable. I've never tried a hair oil that doesn't just sit on top of the hair. This one soaks in, making his curls soft and manageable. While I recommend all of Rev's hair products, this oil with the included pointing tip is my absolute favorite. And to give you some perspective, this review is coming from someone who returned the blow dryer—I wasn't a huge fan of the price versus the results. I haven't used this directly on my scalp, but I have used it on my hair. My hair tends to be on the dry side. This oil gives it some added hydration that makes it look healthier. I use it sparingly so it doesn't weigh my hair down. I use more on my ends as my hair gets more unhealthy towards the ends. It contains a variety of oils including jojoba, olive, and coconut oils. This is a creamy water based leave in conditioner. I used it on my Afro textured hair and while it provides moisture it was temporary for me. It’s definitely something I would have to use daily to keep my hair from drying. Th is product may be better suited to looser textures.
