Mochi is a 8 pounds mini poodle. I cut up foams to surround the inner part of the basket and made a liner with cotton fabric. She sits in there just fine. It's a bit too narrow for her to turn from facing left to facing right, and it's a bit dangerous for her if she starts standing up in the basket because we pass other dogs. But she will sit back down if we tell her to "sit". I also secure her harness on my handle and make it short enough that she can go too far. I like how sturdy this basket is compare with other softshell pet bike carrier. Whenever we done biking, I can simply remove the basket from my bike and take it inside to keep it clean from the bike storage. ... show more

    • Cuteness goes a long ways
This is not the perfect bike basket, but it is super cute in the green color, so that makes up for a lot. Plus, the price point is good, the capacity is ample, and the construction seems sound. The mounting bracket was easy to install, but the basket does end up leaning on my brake handles a bit, and of course, you have to think about which cables will go where. The biggest problem is in the basket attachment. You place the basket on the two bottom hooks of the bracket, and then push the basket handles down to hook their ends around the top of the bracket. That "locks" the basket on the bracket. However, when I ride, the basket handles magically rise up until they unhook from the bracket. A couple of twist ties holds them down, but of course that negates the convenience of being able to easily lift the basket off the bike. So five stars for cuteness, minus one for the design problem. ... show more

I ordered this basket for my Trek women's hybrid bike. It was fairly easy to attach the holder with the hooks and strap. At first, I thought it would interfere with my brake cables, but you can remove the adjustable bracket wire at the bottom and reattached it from behind the cables so they go through. I decided the Velcro strap at the bottom did not provide enough support, so I combined two long electrical ties and cinched them through the bracket at the top closer to my handle bars. This makes the basket much more stable and able to withstand rides on rough city pavement. So far, so good. I am enjoying having a place to carry items back from the store. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have ordered and return a handful of baskets. I have two bikes and have had one on an older bike that has worked well, but will occasionally tip downward of the basket is too full. It also sits on a plastic quick release that I am always afraid it will break in the middle of the ride. My new bike has much wider bars so finding something that would fit was the first priority. Started with trying the same basket I already used. Didn’t fit. Ordered another, still didn’t fit but I could modify it and it would sit at a tilt. Ended up using two different front bags and couldn’t stand them. THIS BASKET…. I love everything g about it! At first I couldn’t figure out how to get basket on holder. I set it down and figured I would be returning it. I in fact went to do a return and looked at the video. You load the basket by holding the handles up. Boy did I feel silly! Took minutes to install and feels so sturdy! I am ready to order this for my other bike now too just because of how sturdy it feels. ... show more

I was so happy to find this basket for my retro bike. The pink color is perfect for my bike. The install was a breeze although instructions would have been nice. Love the ease with which it cones on and off. Goes right into the grocery with me! I hope that it will not rust🤞

    • Cute Basket, A Little Difficult to Set Up

This basket is cute and fits on my bike pretty well. My only complaint here is that it came with no installation instructions and I had to figure it out on my own. I've never installed a basket on a bike before so it proved to be a little more difficult than I would have liked. I'm definitely a look at the instructions and figure it out kind of person and with no instructions I became frustrated on several occasions as I had to correct my mistakes more than I would have liked. Also, when trying to move one of the piece that attached to the stem of my bike, I bent the bracket without realizing it and then had to try and bend it back into shape which was also difficult. Finally, after fooling with it for about 30 to 40 minutes, I got everything situated how I wanted it and was able to install the basket on the bike. It's very cute, just would have been helpful to have actual instructions. ... show more
