So far it works the way it should. It's a kill switch. Turn on to turn on and off to turn off. One issue but not major is that it does reset your trip data, your clock and calendar. No biggie but can't rely on those anymore !!

Before this I had a manual switch where I turned a knob by hand thats mounted directly on the battery terminal to turn the battery on or off. Which meant I had to open the hood to get access to the knob. But then the knob broke so I ordered this with a remote control to replace it. Best replacement there is! The hardest part was figuring out how I wanted to mount it to my battery. Otherwise it works great. It's nice not having an easily accessible disconnect. That way not just anyone can come and turn my car on. Now just to see how long the batteries in the remotes last.

I replaced a manual kill switch with this and remote one and it works great! No longer do I have to pop open the hood to turn off the battery. This will definitely help extend the life of my vehicle battery.

had to make my own leads. battery terminal too big for metric battery clamps. once installed and set up it works great. used multi meter to see charging to battery volts to insure a good connection.
