I do my nails regularly and this Czech glass cuticle pusher/file was a game changer when it came to my nail prep and cleaning of my nails!! I've been a loyal and avid user of Bona-Fide Beauty's regular glass files and am happy to report that this is on pare with the rest of their products! The only files I will use! The cuticle pusher pushed back and filed/trimmed back my cuticles simultaneously! And the best part, the fine grit of the glass is better for your nails than standard metal pushers! Sealing in those keratin layers! Also think if it as a really fine pumice stone for the dry skin around your nails! It's also very hygienic as you just rinse with soap and water and let air dry. The materials it's made of and ability to clean it adds to it's longevity as well! The pusher itself was also very sturdy and comfortable in my hand and easy to use! Came in their box wrapped in bubble wrap in a plastic tube with protective padding to protect the pointed end of the cuticle pusher! I will be using this every manicure as I do their files! Pro: works waaaay better than the metal ones - disappointed that I didn’t try this sooner Con: other glass ones have a smooth side on the end of the bevel so that it doesn’t scrape the top of your nail bed when you push your cuticles back - this does not and I wish it did. I mostly use the pointy side though and push cuticles back with my nails. ... show more

I never knew my cuticles needed pushing until I stumbled upon this glorious glass cuticle pusher. Let me tell you, this thing is the Excalibur of nail care tools. If King Arthur had been into manicures, this would have been his weapon of choice. Firstly, the sleek glass design makes me feel like I’m wielding a magical wand rather than a simple nail tool. I half-expected sparkles to fly out as I used it. Spoiler: they didn’t, but I still felt like a wizard of the manicure world. This cuticle pusher is so precise, I’m convinced it could perform surgery. I’ve never seen my cuticles look so pristine. My fingers are now ready to be hand models. Seriously, if there’s a job market for cuticle models, sign me up because my cuticles are now red carpet ready. And let’s talk about durability. I dropped it (on purpose, for science) from a height that would have shattered lesser tools. Not a scratch. Not al glass files are equal! I've tried generic brands and had them either break too easy or the filing surface basically wear off after a few uses. It's worth it to go with a reputable company and Bonafide is definitely high quality, and stand behind their products. These glass cuticle sticks are a game changer! There is a bit of a learning curve and if new to the style I'd recommend watching the videos and reading the instructions provided on the bonfide website. I did purchase a 3 piece multi color kit of cuticle tools from them after receiving this one, however they were not the Same. Make sure to pay attention to descriptions and photos when ordering. This one is slightly more expensive and comes solo. It has a longer and more pronounced tapered tipped on the pointed end. The multi-kit I purchased does not have the same point, they are still excellent but will not be As precise as this one to reach certain areas with ease. I love the brand and the fact they last so long. You do need to be careful not to Drop them, they are still glass. Very easy to clean making them a hygienically superb tool as well. I do recommend watching videos about how to use this tool. There are many out there that use them wrong which will harm the nailed and cuticles. If properly used without unnecessary and excessive pressure they will help heal overtime if starting with ragged cuticles, and will keep already healthy nails/cuticles in a healthy condition.
