I use it in the winter in my shop. Easy to use and keeps my 400 square foot shop warm. usually only have to run it for 20 minutes then can shut it of for 20 minutes. A good heater for the price.

    • Puts out a ton of heat!

This thing blows out a ton of heat even on it's low setting. The only problem with it is it is super loud. This though is the nature of this type of heater. They are all loud. Very simple to operate. The A/C cord is VERY short so you will need and extension or or be VERY close to an outlet.

Great for large open areas, fantastic heat distribution, perfect for work play areas where the noise is NOT a problem. Pro: undeniable, best for work area heating. Easy set up once you realize the LP connection will work on a typical grill tank. Con: very loud!!! had to force the connection into the LP gas tank. There are the typical large connectors found on most grills with plastic knob. Then there are the internal screw connectors that need extra umph to push and turn the threads in. Once connected it worked great. this product is perfect for heat distribution in large open or ventilated garage. it was returned because needed less noisy solution. ... show more

I have spent hours trying to heat a garage space with electric heaters and finally decided to throw in the towel and upgrade to a propane heater. Let me tell you money well spent. When I work in my garage I want something that can heat it up quickly and I can just turn it down or off when I'm warm. This has been a great addition. I wish I hadn't spent the money previously on an electric unit. Within 10-20 minutes my garage is nice and warm, even with a window open. The piezo electric ignitor constantly runs, so I am a little concerned it would eventually wear out, but enjoy not having to worry about needing to shut off the gas and relight. There is also a nice heat sensitive sticker on the tube that changes color when the metal gets hot to let you know it has cooled down enough to touch. Super easy to use right out of the box. It heats up quick and pushes out the warmth without the smell of conventional salamander style heaters. I recommend this heater to anyone looking for a good heat source at a good price.

If you're buying this, get this along with it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078K8DSXC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The threads on the hose that comes with the heater do not fit my tank. Very annoying. Had to pull the hose off my grill to get it to connect. Once connected, the unit runs fine and heats well. Just annoying they didn't include what I needed to get going, especially when it's freezing out. ... show more
