The quality of these shelves far exceeded my expectations. They are super-sturdy, beautifully finished and very easy to assemble. They even came with a high-quality rubber mallet to tap them together and a pair of gloves for protecting my hands during the process (not that I needed the gloves, but what a thoughtful touch!). The instructions were very well-written (not that anyone would need those either; assembly was a breeze). The packaging was also top-notch: the pieces were all separated with sheets of foam and taped securely so they would not scratch each other. Bought the shelves for storage on a storage unit. My honest opinion is it works fine and great but you cannot store tires like it shows on the picture it will fall apart because of the weight but it is fine to store other items. Shells are strong but not strong enough for heavy weight. Be advised when buying this product. Make sure it it is what you’re looking for so far so good it’s been good.
