The Valance part is lovely. Soft, silky, has weight to it, hangs just right. But the curtain part is made of a different material that almost looks a bit 'plastic'. I 'fixed' it by hanging lace curtains under the valance and over the curtain. I use extension rods so it worked out perfectly. These are lovely drapes, but rather cheap. It was a tad disappointing to learn they were not seen very well. Fortunately, I've a sewing machine and skills, so they'll be less likely to fall apart, again. Once I fixed them, they are fine. Don't expect them to fill a wider window, either.

Fast shipping great value for the price. Valance is connected making it very elegant looking. Material is thin so I put curtains under them for the winter. The tassels connected to the valences are not sewn on very well at all so I will have to reinforce them before washing or I’m afraid they will all come right off.
