Buy this case then pickup the reed saver pack separately and save a small fortune! This stays closed, looks great, and a humidity pack (sold separately) fits nicely in the bottom. I am still in the learning phase of my saxophone journey so I’m not playing through a box of reeds every month yet. 8 slots are fine for me. Fits tenor sax reeds just fine. Simple storage for eight reeds. Nothing special but for under $15 it’s a great value. It’s made of cheap plastic but it doesn’t feel flimsy and it still looks nice. Would recommend for any musician on a budget (so, any musician).

This case does not really close tightly so you gonna run into an issue of it opening up while in your bag. You’ll have to press quite hard for it to go click to close properly. That issue is especially going to happen with a child who is a beginner
