Great lighting if you’re in to that. Works perfectly and never malfunctions. Love the white for my white setup. Quiet and aesthetic

Has been working great without issue. Good build quality and the white fits with my build. The RGB is a good bonus as well. Instruction manual was very helpful with the set up.

  • Great PSU, well worth price.
Style: ATX 3.0 Gold WT Size: 850 Watts
Got this for my pc even though many suggested against it.. I’ve had absolutely no issues with it. I don’t use the RGB on it because it’s kind of pointless since it’s hidden, but it performs well. Great purchase, will most likely purchase again if I don’t get the Lian li edge for the next build.

  • Very clean PSU
Style: ATX Gold WT Size: 650 Watts
This PSU is very quiet at idle, and I have the white 650W variant. Overall, I absolutely love this PSU, this is the PSU used in this $700 budget build commision. The i7-6800K & RX 5700, plus everything else, only uses around 575W. The RGB fan looks nice, but I do wish that the fan had a cord to connect to my fan hub, as I have to change the colors seperately with the red LED button. The PSU does also come with very nice white cables, although I used extensions for the GPU, CPU, and mobo PWR. Overall, really like it, very nice lighting, from the 3rd pic, and has nice power consumption. Again, it’s very quiet, although SLIGHTLY noisy under stress, but still very good temps. The PSU is also somewhat light when I took it out of the packaging, but that was without the full mod cables attached. Build is still lighter than the previous one that used the same case, and a smaller GPU, but larger mobo. Overall, I really love it, and definitely will use it again in the future, possibly in my next personal build for the 1300w. ... show more

  • Quiet PSU, DOA.
Style: ATX 3.0 Gold BK Size: 850 Watts
I had high hopes for this PSU. I had just bought a new RX7900XTX to replace my aging RTX2060. I only had a 650W PSU and I was reading that 850W is the recommended minimum. So I bought this PSU. The first problem I had is that the RX7900XTX requires 3 x 8 pin PCIe connectors. The PSU came with 3 PCIe connectors, but only one cable would fit. Of the two that wouldn't fit, one cable would fit the GPU side but not the PSU side, the other cable would not fit either the PSU nor the GPU side. There was also another CPU cable that would fit the motherboard, but would not fit the PSU side at all. I was already suspicious of the PSU. After installing the PSU and applying power to the PSU, the RGB LEDs in my memory DIMMS lit up, which seemed to like a good sign. However, that's where the good signs stopped. As soon as turn on the PC, the PSU would shut down, I would hear a clicking noise and it would not power back on no matter what. After waiting about 10 minutes, the PSU would come on again, only to shut down again and make the same clicking noise again. I was VERY disappointed since I had to pretty much take my entire PC apart to install the new PSU and re-route all the cables. I am glad I didn't bother dressing up the cables to make look nice, or I would have been more disappointed. I definitely would NOT recommend this PSU. Maybe I got a dud, but the burned child avoids the fire... It was quiet for the 10 seconds that it ran, so I give it that. ... show more

  • 10/10 budget, reliable PSU. Reddragon does it again!!
Style: ATX 3.0 Gold WT Size: 850 Watts
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 stars For: Budget-conscious builders seeking efficiency, quiet operation, and modular cables Against: Limited brand reputation, higher noise levels under heavy load, potentially tight cable management Performance: 4.5 out of 5 stars The Redragon PSU007 packs a potent punch for its price. Its 850W output makes it suitable for even demanding gaming and workstation builds. The 80+ Gold certification ensures high efficiency, translating to lower power bills and less heat generation. In everyday use, it runs whisper-quiet, remaining near-silent under moderate loads. However, push it hard with a hefty power draw, and the fan noise can become noticeable, though still within acceptable limits. Features: 4 out of 5 stars This PSU ticks all the essential boxes. It's fully modular, allowing you to use only the cables you need, improving airflow and aesthetics inside your case. Japanese capacitors and various circuit protections promise long-term reliability and component safety. It also boasts RGB lighting, though its implementation might be considered basic compared to flashier alternatives. Value: 5 out of 5 stars This is where the PSU007 truly shines. Compared to established brands offering similar specs, the Redragon undercuts the price significantly. For budget-conscious builders seeking a reliable and efficient power supply, it's a hard bargain to beat. Things to Consider: Brand Reputation: Redragon is a relatively new name in the PSU market, so some users might prefer sticking with established brands for peace of mind. Noise Levels: While quiet under moderate loads, the fan noise becomes noticeable under heavy workloads, which might be a concern for noise-sensitive users. Cable Management: The modular cables are handy, but the included ones might be slightly short for spacious cases, potentially requiring extra care during installation. Final Verdict: The Redragon PSU007 850W Gold is a compelling option for budget-minded builders seeking a reliable and efficient power supply. Its quiet operation, modular cables, and 80+ Gold certification offer fantastic value for the price. While the limited brand reputation, potential increase in noise under heavy loads, and potentially short cables are minor drawbacks, they don't overshadow the overall strong performance and affordability. If you're on a tight budget and prioritize performance over brand recognition, the Redragon PSU007 is a Goldilocks-worthy choice, providing just the right power at a budget-friendly price, with just a few thorns to watch out for during installation and heavy workloads. Note: This review is based on my research and analysis of the Redragon PSU007 850W Gold. Your experience may vary depending on your specific components, case size, and usage patterns. Feel free to adapt and personalize this review to your own experience and preferences. You can add specific details about your benchmark results, noise level measurements, or comparisons with other PSUs in the same price range. ... show more
