I have very fine, thin hair that requires body to keep it in place and styled. Hotsets 22 was perfect and I used it for years. They discontinued it, and I'm now using the Thermal Spray 11. The nozzle emits way too much product and not fine enough mist. It sprays out in a heavy mist. I may try it in another spray bottle to see if that helps. I'm not as happy with the results on my hair as it doesn't add enough body. ... show more

Was suckered into trying this product after it was described as a HG product by a YT’er… Dr Blowout I believe??? I was not impressed and prefer my tried and true $7 Tresseme heat protectant way more. I’ve attempted to use the product several times: on damp hair, freshly dried hair, day old hair, 2 day old hair. Each time yielding hair that felt heavy, lifeless and sticky! I’ve tried using less product and spraying from more distance from my head. Nope! Now, I’m out $30 and on the hunt for a good clarifying shampoo to remove the product buildup this left behind 🙄. ... show more

    • I tried to love this....
I tried to like this...I LOVED the Iron silk 07 thermal spray, it had a wonderful smell, left my hair silky soft and minimized damage from the heat of my flat iron, in short, perfection..but alas I couldn't find it anymore and was told this was the same thing but updated packaging...if that is true then the iron silk 07 bottle I had was filled with something else. This Iron 11 version first of all, doesn't pump properly. I am forced to pump the bottle three times as many times to get the coverage I need on my long hair with my head hanging down and it comes out in a faulty spray pattern so it gets too much in some places and hardly any somewhere else PLUS not a mist at all like the pink 07...awkward! Then the smell, not terrible, but for sure not pleasing, just on the edge of unpleasant. NOT the same or even close. Lastly and I suppose most importantly (although how my hair smells is VERY important to me!) it coats my hair with a residue that makes it feel stiff and brittle, and hard to comb with a wide tooth comb...where is the soft silky aromatic liquid gold from my pink 07 bottle? Top it off with me TRYING to like it and Labor Day holiday combining to put me 2 days past the return option window and now I am stuck with it (not their fault but still...). So now I have this bottle of pricey I dunno what, but it is most definitely not on a par with the pink 07...if that is what you are looking for, skip this and please let me know if you can find anything comparable to the pink 07. If so I will need about a dozen bottles of the other stuff!!! ... show more
