(This is a copy and paste from previous review because it’s a regimen of three of these products {this being one} to see you hair shinier than you have probably seen since childhood or have only seen on people/models on TV, regardless this is one of the 3 things I use to get awesome shiny, soft and stronger hair) SO… Living in the country, not the city, means well water and some places no water softener. Unfortunately, this leaves hair brassy, dull, frizzy & what I call why bother hair!!. I used the complete line starting with the 1st one, when working this regimen, start with ACIDIC BONDING CONCENTRATE INTENSIVE TREATMENT (leave in hair for 5 mins in the shower) then wash hair with the ACIDIC BONDING CONCENTRATE SHAMPOO, next use the ACIDIC BONDING CONCENTRATE CONDITIONER. THATS IT, THATS ALL, NOTHING ELSE NEEDED IN HAIR AFTER THAT! No need for leave in conditioner on most hair. I personally straighten my hair after this washing hair regimen. The first time I used this, I couldn’t believe I was looking in the mirror at my hair. For real, I was checking myself out all day, next day too! My hair looked shinier than whenever I got out of the salon. It’s CRAZY INCREDIBLE, the shininess was outstanding & I never thought I would ever see my hair shine like it does with this, like when I was growing up in the city! If they gave all girls with dull hair a sample of this regimen, DARN their sales would sky rocket. It’s for real pricy tho, but you don’t need to use this daily, use once a week or for some use once every 2 weeks, you will be astounded at the very noticeable results on your very first try. I have Native Indian and Mexican hair. So it's super thick "supposed to be lucious" hair. Lol but I dyed it fried it burned it. I straighten my hair, blow dry it, I went blonde, then bubble gum pink, grey, back to blonde, then dyed it all BLACK again. So the 1st picture was when I cut it all off to "start over". There was still ALOT of dead hair left. However my stylist told me to use this set. Compared to over the counter shampoos this is expensive per say. However I used the small amount it recommended and it lasted me months as my hair grew. I got the 33. OZ. SHAMPOO BOTTLES TWICE AND THE CONDITIONER 3 TIMES IN 2 years. As well as the bonding treatment large tube. With consistent hair trims my hair was so healthy. 1 month ago I got a japanese hair treatment that took some off the shine off my hair as and gave me a bit of damage. However I truly believe had I not repaired my hair it would have fell off. The chemicals were so unexpectedly HARSH. 2 weeks ago I finished the Bonding set and switched over to the SOFT set with Redken and my hair has never been more soft. ... show more

This shampoo/conditioner set is the best product I've ever used on my hair. I have naturally curly hair that I get bleached. It made it feel so soft and my curls are less frizzy- more uniformed. Love !!

    • Can Feel The Product Working, But Not The Best For My Hair Type

Have been using Redken faithfully for almost 20 years, despite their frustrating tendency to constantly update and change their product range. So I purchased the Acidic Bonding shampoo and conditioner pair based on the positive reviews. My hair can often feel dry and brittle from regular blow drying and straightening irons, and while I have heat protect products that help, I figured I'd give this a try to and reduce (or eliminate) those phases damaged hair. I really wanted to like this shampoo and conditioner combo, and to be fair, I can feel it working and doing its job, however my hair is not the thickest to begin with and this left it feeling pin thin. The other issue I (personally) had was that my hair felt heavy and oily, almost greasy. Redken make some great products, but this one personally doesn't suit my hair and it seems like others have enjoyed success with this line. I'm going to go back to using Redken Volume Injection as that worked better, and hopefully find an alternative product to deal with those days when my hair feels dry and damaged. Lastly, for those who care, it smells like passionfruit, which I quite like but may not be to the tastes of others, particularly people who don't like passionfruit. ... show more
