I purchased a Red Base Waxed Amaryllis for my 94-year-old mother. The bulb arrived damaged. All the water had leaked into the shipping package and after 3 weeks the bulb had withered. I contacted the seller and told them about the issue. They immediately shipped my mom a new bulb, which arrived in 3 days. This bulb was/is perfect! The bulb began growing from the day she received it. She says she can practically watch it grow. She is delighted and so am I! My mom lives in an assisted living facility and currently has Covid. I bought 3 of these red waxed blooms and sent them to friends as gifts. One has two dead buds that must have been damaged in shipment, one has never bloomed. One is beautiful. I would not spend $75 with this company again. Very disappointing!!!

Gifted twice. Wish I had been able to include a gift message. But very happy I went ahead and phoned a warning that a package was coming. I ordered a set of three, two look exactly like the first photo the other is the second photo. Have had them since the end of October, it is now December 17. No growth at all on two, very little on the third. These will undoubtedly never bloom into flowers. I have had these type of amaryllis every year from other places and always had a beautiful bloom. Very disappointed, as two of these were gifts don’t plan on ordering from here again. Sorry ... show more

The blooms were not as vibrant or long lasting as others not in the wax coating. Would not buy again.
