I was questioning whether this would work as it takes some tech knowledge...but with some help from her daughter my buddy's mom got these set up and they work for her. She can hear at a much lower price than what her hearing aids from the doctor would cost. The only thing I don’t like is there is no app for my phone like my other hearing aids. I couldn’t afford the out of pocket on my retirement so here I am.

    • Stopped working two weeks after I bought them
When they arrived they were good a little hard to turn on but I managed. After a couple of weeks the left one stopped working completely. Fully charged and won’t turn on. Also if you take them out of the charger for a second once the light turns green and put them back right away the light turns orange as if they needed to be changed again. ... show more

Fast charging and crisp, clear sound. It comes with a charging case and sits on the ear easily—I even forgot I had it on for hours. I really like the noise-canceling feature, and the overall quality is better than the $50-$100 range hearing supports I've previously used.     • Quality construction and style. But I was expecting more...
Considering the price, I was expecting a little more than this. I'm not sure what they were talking about with regard to "noise cancellation" because the sound quality, although louder, was quite "tinny" and echo-y. These were comfortable to wear and hide discreetly behind the ear. The control switch makes sense after a few times of using it. The charging case is well thought out. It requires a firm grip to insert and remove the devices... but at least you know that they were correctly seated in position, and the LED lights on the front of the charger case let you know that they are re-charging. Rather than being a true "RIC" (receiver in the ear) amplifier, these are much like the style that my grandparents had: a hollow tube delivers the sound into the ear... because the speaker is inside the device itself. Although it's an "old-school" approach, they are much more modern with how small they are. Someone who has hearing loss and who has no other option will find these to be a blessing. But there are better options out there if sound quality is important to you. The person who would benefit from this will be an elderly loved one of mine who lives in a nursing home. Hearing aids are ALWAYS lost or misplaced (by residents and staff) or they fall out in bedding and get washed by mistake, and that's an expensive loss for normal Rx hearing aids. But something like this will provide enough amplification to make conversation with your loved one easier and if it gets misplaced, it's not as devastating as losing a high-end hearing aid. The charging port on the bottom of the case is a USB "micro" connection (not USB-C) so you'll need to use the included USB charging cable. --- No big deal, but it's worth mentioning if you were planning on traveling with just ONE usb-C cable for all your other devices (phone, music, tablet, etc.) Summary, it's not terrible, but it's not wonderful... it's right there in the middle, so my assessment is simply an honest "C" or 3-star rating. --- You'll need to decide what your priorities are and how that matches up with your budget. ... show more

I got these hearing aids for my wife who has mild hearing loss and has a hard time understanding speech in a noisy environment. These hearing aids have definitely helped her, especially at work where she is constantly dealing with customers in a busy retail environment. She has found them very easy to use, lasts all day on a charge and fairly discreet, most people do not notice them even with her hair tied back. The only issue she has with them is keeping them in place on the ear, she needs to move around and bend over a lot at work and she finds herself frequently adjusting the hearing aids to keep them from falling off. If it was not for this issue I would have rated them 5 stars. ... show more

These hearing aids are fantastic. They are so simple to set up, use, and charge. The touch button system makes it really easy to adjust quickly without having to remember which way to scroll a dial. They filter much more properly unlike the amplifiers that just make everything loud. The sound quality is good and has less distortion than others. They are so small and inconspicuous that people rarely know that I'm wearing them and they're much more comfortable than any others I've tried. Their battery life is also excellent.
